Dude, this is so true. There's this IFBB pro men's physique guy at my gym who gains "20 lb of pump." He mostly wears pump covers until he's deep into a session because without them he's extremely unimpressive at baseline. His arms go from about 17" cold to 19" pumped, it's absurd.
imo the only way to ever tell for certain, if they're not absurdly huge, is time scale. If they suddenly gain a lot of muscle in the span of 4-12 weeks or so. Even during the "newbie gains" phase starting out, nobody natural really looks that noticeably different within the first 3 months. And once you get a few years under your belt and start to plateau, you're doing well if you even gain 1lbs of muscle in 3 months. So a sudden (lean) size explosion in someone who is already intermediate or advanced is a dead giveaway.
I’m a 42 yo woman, and I’m certain if you asked someone at my gym they’d think I’m not natural. But I’ve been training for over a decade consistently and my diet is dialed in… I don’t think you can always say someone’s on gear just cause they’re lean and jacked lol
As a natty, I was surprised how you'd think some of them were on gear cause most of them don't even look that big or ripped. Only 2 or 3 of them look questionable actually.
What he said about "some people just look like they're on something" is right. Obviously it's not a science but I think it's to do with the proportions, most people gain muscle pretty much evenly throughout their whole body. But if someone has much bigger arms, and especially their shoulders, or a much bigger chest than the rest of their body that's a pretty good sign.
Zack, I think the enhanced guys are easier to spot in person, and it's kind of hard to put into words. There's a skin quality aspect, ruddy skin, sometimes very red and flushed, coarse looking. The bad backne is a giveaway if they have it. Regional hypertrophy is definitely a thing, like overdeveloped traps, delts, and upper chest that is often very disproportionate to the rest of their physique and incongruent with how they train. Natty guys with big delts and traps are usual extremely strong. It's not uncommon for me to see an enhanced bro with huge traps doing shrugs with 40 lb dumbbells, gtfo with that nonsense. As guys are and their skin thins, vascularity often looks ridiculous in guys who have used in the past or are currently using. Vascularity that is way too much for their body fat levels typically. It's harder to tell if someone is over 20% bodyfat, or if they don't train for bodybuilding and just use for strength. Someone else mentioned this in a comment, but the pumps enhanced people get are ridiculous in comparison to natty guys. Hairline, facial hair density, and perceived age are a few others that can be supportive. If a guy is 24 and looks 38 with middle aged man beard density and a receding hairline and you're on the fence about him based on muscularity, that pushes me towards enhanced. I've suspected numerous people at my gym from these factors as a whole and later been proven right when they told my friends what they were on. I'm not the type to approach people I don't know to ask about that sort of thing, but word gets around. There are I'm sure countless people who are on stuff and I have no idea, especially the younger folks on SARMs, they often look virtually identical to their natty counterparts. I hear this from my Gen Z friends, one told me he has 5 friends currently who are enhanced and don't look like it, and they think he's enhanced because he's outpaced them in results lol.
Im on fence with her tbh she is super short and honestly she has sports background and she is clearly gifted athlete so its hard to tell that being said if you ask me im guessing she did some shit when she started youtube/IG and now is off because who cares now she is already and she used to look more muscular than she does now.
@@janisarbidans8931 This has been my take for a while too. I wouldn't be surprised to find out that she has taken something, but I'm not certain enough to say it for a fact. Also a lot of it with her is just pump, posing and lighting. She has never looked as big and lean on video as she has done in pictures. There are some people who look pretty normal day to day, but who can get an absolutely absurd pump whilst working out that only lasts for a short period. So I also wouldn't be surprised if she's one of those, and just snapped all of her more freaky photos immediately post workout in good lighting before the pump dies down. But yeah, could go either way.
Yeah, not saying the dude is “fat” but he’s easily 24% bf and he’s just muscular and carries it well. If he cut down to 15% he’d look great probably have abs but the arms chest and shoulders would shrink waaaay down to a more natty level.
@@n00dle_king Yeah true. The amount of size you lose from that rear delt and upper triceps area going from like 20% down to 15% is funny. It looks like muscle when it's there, but it's isn't lol.

There's no way, especially since she's vegetarian. I eat beef non stop in the lead up to a competition and the highest I can ever get is 200grams.
Yeah I was gonna say the most I've ever done is 200g as well. And that's when I was 197lbs bodyweight, so heavier than she is. And I spewed a couple times. Even that is overkill. The upper limit that is actually backed by evidence is only 0.73g per pound, aka 1.6g per kilogram. So a woman her size eating 290g is just insanity. Or it would be if it was true, which it definitely isn't lol.
I was eating 170g of protein with sardines, turkey, chicken breast, 8 egg whites, low fat yoghurt and soybeans DAILY. To eat 290g a day would be absolutely insane to me, to do it without meat would probably require hundreds of dollars of pea protein powder a week. Literal pro weightlifters don't need that much protein let alone a "natural" woman.
@8:55 I think and this is just me... saying the guy doesn't have a good physique would further send others and possibly him down a rabbit hole to blast more gear to get a "better" physique... the guy doesn't have a social media standard physique... but his physique is not how you described it as "NOT GOOD" the guy looks good.. broad shoulders, nice chest, nice sized arms, not fat yes his waist is wide but thats more a genetic thing than a time in the gym component so its not feasible to add that in to critique him.. He is easily at the top 10% of guys who workout... probably in the top 5% of men in the world based on physique. Could he have attained it naturally YES, but that does not mean his physique is "Not good" as you described it. You should use videos like this to promote a natural lifestyle in the realm of most of these physiques could have been achieved without gear cause truly... lets be real most of these people if they trained harder wouldn't need gear at all... I'm surprised at alot of them who are running gear cause... most of them DO NOT HAVE social media standard physiques... this method would work out better than shaming or gaslighting or belittling them to stay natural those methods would just further lead them to take gear or more gear. In my opinion, that response could have been better but that's just nitpicking an overall great video.. that response to me just wasn't a cool way to go about it.
Yeah hes been around too many roiders and top level athletes that even he admitted that it started negatively affecting his self esteem a few years ago and he wanted to start bodybuilding to "look like I lift" and other things to that same effect. I could tell it wasn't good for his mental when he appeared in videos where he lifted with Clarence and Juji and company years ago, he was always very much an odd man out and you could only guess how that trickled down cuz he hung out with them. Its the issue pretty much every social media addict gets where they entirely lose perspective of what is normal/natural, and not just with fitness and physiques. Zack's been in it for too long that he doesn't even remember to factor it in anymore. But the guy was obviously juicing, as Zack said its hard to describe but you can just tell, especially when you yourself have been lifting for a while either on or off drugs. Some "natties" were lying. Some you really wont know until you see them perform a physical activity.
I'm a 270 llbs. guy. I struggled to eat 220g. 290 is damn near impossible. She has to take at least 4 scoops of protein, cause eating that would be torture. Like, she can't have a job.

No chance veggie290gproteingirl is natural. Very questionable recoveringanorexicguy at the end too.. depending on his height and weight he could just have great genetics, but I personally think he's using. Zack I agree with what you said about just being able to tell sometimes. There's just a "look". Hard to define. Big traps, forearms, delts. Bad skin. Grainy looking.

I have a suspicion on the 290g protein. Soo if you eat plant based protein you got different foods with different Amino acids laking. So to get a complete protein that can be used you got to combine different sources so sometimes you need to over eat protein to get all of the Amino acids in the minimal range to get enough useful protein...
290g of protein a day makes sense if they're all plant based. Depending on specifically what she eats it may even be necessary to get that "1g of protein per pound of bodyweight" (although I am aware that's still over the useful limit). Different aminoacid profiles have different effectiveness, unfortunately.

Lean Beef "Anavar Hairline" Patty
It's just the Turk from Gorilla Mind...trust me...
How can you tell with her hair like that?
Im on fence with her tbh she is super short and honestly she has sports background and she is clearly gifted athlete so its hard to tell that being said if you ask me im guessing she did some shit when she started youtube/IG and now is off because who cares now she is already and she used to look more muscular than she does now.
Nah i always had the anavar old man receding hairline and i'm a natty woman
Lean Beef Sterile Ovarian Disruption
Patty did a “what I eat in a day as a vegetarian” and she got way more protein with less calories than usual. Very interesting.
The guy at 9:17 "natty daddy" - I have been that well trained and lean, all natural. Good genes and shit loads of hard work CAN do that.
Jubilee is always good for a laugh.
"Hopefully you're sitting down with a meal of food"... as I scoop a huge spoon of ground beef and rice into my mouth before afternoon C&J session. 😂
That girl who says she's eating 290 grams of protein a day is FULL OF SHYYYYYYYYT.
Gosh i miss ground beef......but how can you not manage 200 with meat? I mean if calories werent an issue i could smash that down before lunch.
In my opinion, that response could have been better but that's just nitpicking an overall great video.. that response to me just wasn't a cool way to go about it.
tbh if we're counting the entire adult human population he's easily top 1% and probably even top 0.1%. Most people are not even remotely in shape lol.
@@yewtewbstew547 yea thats why I think the comment was harsh and alittle bit delusional.
Well thank you TH-cam for notifying me 🤦
Late yet excited
I died at the “var chick, Heyyy” moment lol
I appreciate you putting me in your thumbnail

I watched the original video the other day, but i see Zack doing a reaction video, I click.
I'm a 270 llbs. guy. I struggled to eat 220g. 290 is damn near impossible. She has to take at least 4 scoops of protein, cause eating that would be torture. Like, she can't have a job.
Vegetarian muscle mommy definitely on the sauce
Some old guys look totally asymmetrical , it's like you have attached arms from a gorilla to a regular dude. Either they stopped training properly due to injuries or they didn't from the beginning.
i see that a lot too
4:24 Lean Beef Pattie's sister is part of it?
No chance veggie290gproteingirl is natural. Very questionable recoveringanorexicguy at the end too.. depending on his height and weight he could just have great genetics, but I personally think he's using. Zack I agree with what you said about just being able to tell sometimes. There's just a "look". Hard to define. Big traps, forearms, delts. Bad skin. Grainy looking.
Chikara Transformations is a Body builder who had an ED, she says that body building helped her recovery. I do think the ‘sport’ is a form of ED though. And she ain’t natty, but she is honest about that
Tibs dude was hilarious
TIL I'm better at integral calculus than telling who''s natty or not.
Anyways im off skipping the WOD to work on my tibs
love u zack
I have a suspicion on the 290g protein. Soo if you eat plant based protein you got different foods with different Amino acids laking. So to get a complete protein that can be used you got to combine different sources so sometimes you need to over eat protein to get all of the Amino acids in the minimal range to get enough useful protein...
Before I proceed just gotta mention how great the intro was... just a bit of entertainment 😄
I love Patty. She just seems like such a sweetheart.
Showing just a clip of Lance Armstrong while explaining "when it's older guys on it for a while you just know" is fucking hilarious
290g of protein a day makes sense if they're all plant based.
Depending on specifically what she eats it may even be necessary to get that "1g of protein per pound of bodyweight" (although I am aware that's still over the useful limit). Different aminoacid profiles have different effectiveness, unfortunately.
Rayman's music at the end, what a legend.
fun video. would enjoy more of this type of content!
I don't know when BOS became the background but let's keep this forever
How much vegan food do you have to eat to achieve 290g of protein?
290g protein/day + vegetarian is crazy.
Work dump video 😂 I'm actually comfortably on my couch.. this time 😅
Var chick ‘hey’ had me 😂😂😂😂
Throwing lance Armstrong on the screen when talking about old dudes being on steroids was hilarious
lol I wanted to see you react to the part where the volleyball player said his coach told him that “professional lifters” jump the highest
When you say "you'll know if you know"...how do you know?
I’m seeing so many natty looking folks on gear these days. Tren won’t make up for years of hard work!
Idea for Jubilee for a follow up video: who of the Natties was lying?
Wait is that the brotherhood of steel logo in the background?
Literally described what I'm doing rn 👷🏾♂️🚽
290g protein, just take 10-15 scoops of protein per day, 2-5 scoops each meal 😂
Her bank account aint natty xD
The life of being a black dude with even a slightly above average physique means always being called not natural😂
Vascularity, bf%, overall mass are natty/geared "metrics".
Eating my chipotle right as he said “I hope you have a meal”
Leanbeefpatty is a 27 "casual gym anime girl" whose powerlifting numbers are: bench 80kg (176lbs), squat 130kg (286lbs) and DL 152.5kg (336lbs). At 128lbs (58kilos). Just with that, she breaks powerlifting record of a smaller country, so, you be the judge on her natty status.
Those are intermediate numbers at best.
@@Dnordsmark A 2.2x bodyweight squat would be considered advanced even for a man. For a woman, that's elite.
The bodyweight ratio matters. You can't just look at those numbers as a grown man and be like "I can lift that so it's easy", that's not how this works lol.
i started lifting again a few months ago, and i predict i'd be able to do those numbers within two years. i can barely squat right now due to an unrelated injury, but i'm pretty sure i'll catch up since legs are ez.
i used to shoulder press two 50 lb dumbbells because it was the max i had at the time. you guys thinking her numbers show she's not natural are brainrotted. most women just don't try that hard at lifting, especially in smaller countries with certain cultures.
She has shown many side effects over time and only simps think she is natty.
@@adultdeleted European mentality here. She is small by every definition, and you're brainrotted by social media and fake natty influencers. If you've seen a single person and said "yeah that could be hit natty easily" just for them to come out and say they've been using peds for months, you have no credibility in this type of content judging.
I just got done eating. Just watching this to some how calm my nerves to shoot my own video regarding fitness...
I’m a perfect example of this. When I started TRT at 38, I started out at 5’8” 270. Now I’m 220. My test levels sent from low 200s to the mid 600s.
Tibs dude is a vibe.
11:50 Nice to hear the weight he gained not being called 35 pounds of muscle
She’s not natty
4:00 I don't care what anyone says that is the most attractive body type
40+ on gear = brutal steroid hair loss, red tan when its 20 below outside, leathery skin, face looks 55, walking round with a vibe that says im the $hit.
Brotherhood of Steel
9:00 "doesn't have a good physique"? he has a good physique, he's just not cutting.
Remember when Ilya was 105kg @5’8 with abs showing through his singlet…
Good lunchtime viewing ☺️👍🏻
Var chick got me laughing too "Hey"
The thing is even on gear you need to work out hard to get jacked, no way near as hard as natties but still hard. Also genetics plays a big part. A naturally athletic, strong guy on gear who lifts will look waaaay more jacked than Napolean Dynamite's brother Kip on gear.
I got everyone but 1 correct when i watched this. This just confirms that my natty-o-rometer is deeply in tune
You should do a natty or not on subscribers

Nice brotherhood of steel flag background.
Var check is crazy 😂😂😂😂😂

290g or plant protein, so who knows how much actual protein that gets absorbed by her body as protein.
