Herbert, people that don’t follow Apple closely may have the same lack of enthusiasm for Apple Intelligence as people that don’t follow FSD the way we do and don’t realize the progress FSD has made the last two years especially if they heard Elon say FSD will be autonomous at the end of the year - for the last 5 years.
If FSD is close to being "unsupervised" why would TSLA need to buy a lot more computing power? If most of the training is complete is it just a matter of time for the current hardware to crunch into the solutions?
I think Tesla is not the only company trying to do real world AI. I think the others are racing to have the ultimate real world AI application. Imagine having an Apple, Google, Meta or Microsoft AI Assistant on your iPhone that you can talk to. Imagine this AI Assistant can be your friend or companion, colleague, assistant, therapist, doctor, nurse, lawyer, financial advisor, accountant, architect, engineer, sports analyst, exercise coach, dietitian, teacher, tutor, vacation planner, tour guide, appointment manager/reminder/scheduler etc. Unlike FSD, Tesla’s Robotaxi service or the Tesla Bot, this AI Assistant App would be with the users 24x7 and used 24x7 by everyone.
Herbert-Just an idea. Could Tesla feed visual road data to a static car in their ''lab'' and see how the machine reacts in different visual scenarios ? Under this situation Tesla wouldnt have to rely on data produced by users/drivers but instead generate the visual stimulation and let the machine car decide for itself ??? Not sure if i am clear enough but curious for your take on this thnx man !
As a long time investor you take potential and multiply it by the probability and then discount it to net present value. Tesla true believers think everything will work soon with no problems. For stock to go parabolic earnings have to go parabolic and start to stabilize PE ratio.
I’m a fairly large investor, and have been for about five years. I agree with completely. Everyone criticizes Wall St analysts on these channels, but things have to actually produce some revenue before you can go crazy in your valuation. I think an investment by Tesla into XAi is fraught with legal risks for both companies and Elon. It sucks, but it’s true. An invitation to more stockholder lawsuits. I don’t think it will happen. Tesla buying services off XAi probably the safer way to go.
Is it possible Tesla has already invested in xAI? Those chips last year sent to xAI from Tesla may have been considered an investment on the books somewhere.
Guys. Let’s be honest. Terrible performance on high-speed unprotected left turns are a huge blocker for v13.2.2. This is not an “edge-edge-edge” case scenario. Potentially fatal situations! Unprotected left turns are commonplace, but represent a fractional part of a total drive. However, if you isolated these conditions as a conditional probability, you can see a high incidence with the limited online videos. Dr. Know-It-All had two near-fatal accidents in his video titled “SO CLOSE to PERFECT …”. Confirmation Bias on full display! Yes, the model can be trained, but this is not an Edge Case!
