This is such a very informative and detailed video on the chasen! 😊 How long do you recommend soaking the chasen in the warm water before preparing matcha?
just 30 seconds to one minute! By the way, we are having our Matcha Madness sales so you can save up to 69% off on matcha teas for a limited time: nioteas.com/collections/matcha-powder-and-accessories
My chasen received a high temperature that ended up burning some of its tips, it is totally ruined or there is something to do to save the chasen? Thanks for the video!
Hello! Thank you for the useful video. I have purchased a matcha whisk a year ago, but never used it due to finding out that it needs a ceramic holder for the whisk; in your video this isn't addressed. May I ask if it is of any use? And if so, how is it to be used?
Interesting video, but mixing matcha with a metal whisk makes a tiny amount of difference compared to the price. Sure it could improve the flavor, but only by a TINY amount. Those Chacha whisks cost about $125, which isn’t worth it for the tiny flavor. A metal whisk from dollar tree that costs $1 will do the same exact thing, with $124 cheaper. The matcha might have a bit more powder at the bottom, but a metal whisk is definitely better in terms of actual efficiency
the whisk is $14 on our website and we include it for free in our monthly matcha club. It's about the same price as buying a new kitchen whisk and if people want to buy a whisk for matcha they might as well go for the one that works best
@@Nioteas $14 is still relatively high in price for a glorified broomstick specifically for mixing matcha, and the flavor is nearly the same give or take a bit more powdery at the bottom. It doesn’t really make sense when you compare the ends to the means

no you don't really need it, it just helps maintain the shape. Just rest it upside down with the bristles up in the air
@@Nioteas thank you for sharing your expertise! I really appreciate it.
you're welcome!

I love my glorified broomstick whisk. 😊
yes but if you use it hundreds of times like 1 do its like paying an extra penny per cup to have a matcha that is many times better

It shouldn't be ruined just from this

Im sure it is fine even though the tips are a bit burned
