Hi Tina! I am learning how to use resin from your videos as I want to try it for my next surfboard. Very helpful video. You explain very clearly! I love the hearts.
Both of these are gorgeous…I really like the black one! I have used Glue All on the backs of coasters and it works great in keeping the back clean from resin. Down side is that it takes a day or so to dry. Thank you for the details on how to do these - very helpful! ❣️
Yes you can use acrylic paint to color your resin. Just keep in mind that you can only use a small amount because it will get gummy and hard to work with. 10% ratio of paint to your resin. I prefer using resin dyes and mica powders. They give a beautiful shine and depth to your artwork. Good luck and thanks for watching!
I just sand the backs lightly and add a hook and my signature. You can paint the back but honestly no one will see the backs and it shows it was hand made.
These pieces are beautiful, and your video makes it look so easy. You said that you get the hearts from Michaels, and you also said that you make turtles, mermaids, etc. can you please tell me where you get those pieces? Thanks!!
This is so amazing and inspiring !! I haven’t worked with resins before and I want to start. Do you recommend any video from your series to see first before experiment to understand the science and tips to get started.
I have so many resin videos. But I would start and this is how I started as well by just using it to cover some artwork. Get used to working with it as a top coat. Then play around with pigments.
They are both stunning. I’m going to have to watch. This again, it’s so incredibly relaxing. Thank you for this gorgeous tutorial.

This was an amazing tutorial video. Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge and talent.
You are welcome! Thanks!
Beautiful! I would've liked less white. First splash of white would've been enough. Thanks for sharing.
❤I enjoyed this class, please let me know can I use acrylic paints ? Or tell me what kind should I use? Those hearts look so pretty ❤

I have watched your video scrap times and i am ready to do one now... how do you finish the back? Love the results!

@@TSRCreations thank you so much
They are supercute 😊
What did you have mixed in your sand? Thanks x
I use real sand mixed with tan and white acrylic paint and white glue all.

Why add the second coat of clear? Just wondering if it's cost effective
You don’t have to but I like the dimension from two coats of resin.
Thanks TSR creations, so it's for depth. Perfect. Thank you so much for your kind reply
