    That is lovely Jules. I wouldn't have thought you could just add the Pinata Alcohol Ink direct from the bottle like you did. I have some of that and must try it. Your effect seemed to give it a very nice subtle wave. I am still strugging with my waves.

    Absolutely loved this video😭 I was struggling with my piece and searched videos....found horrible videos with irritating voices lol. I have been an artist for over 30 years, anyway, your voice along with your approach are so refreshing. I could listen to you teach all day. Thank you for your time and talent.

    Wow that is so amazing. I live in Black Point, Nova Scotia, Canada and I live right next to 4 beaches. You captured the ocean and sand, spot on. Wow. Love your creativity. Inspiring for me both in acrylic paintings and spills. I will have to try resin sometime in the near future. Thank you.

    Wow! Your art is absolutely beautiful. Can you please tell me what you use to clean off your piece in between resins? You had a squirt bottle that you used and then wiped it down "Squeaky clean".

    Hi I am new to resin and love your creations please could you tell me what type of resin you used the first type I bought was really runny and just ran everywhere so my colors just ran into one another so did not get the lay color like you did. Thank you for any help

    • @JulesMadisonArtByDesign
      @JulesMadisonArtByDesign  ปีที่แล้ว

      When I first started I just used cheap resin from the hardware store to practice getting it right. Now that I’m a professional artist and selling my art I use high grade resin. Underneath each of my videos is a description and I list the materials I use for each project and specify which resin I used. The colors will run into each other.

    You are quite an amazing artist

  • @ivonepereira4806

    Can you instead of adding sand to the glue add glue to the mdf then sprinkle the sand on top? Have you tried that? Does the sand stick proven mixed to the glue doesn't it start falling off? How much glue and sand do you add?

    • @ivonepereira4806
      @ivonepereira4806 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      What is that green stuff you added to the sand?

    • @JulesMadisonArtByDesign
      @JulesMadisonArtByDesign  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      The sand and glue mix is like concrete and doesn't fall off. Sand sprinkled on the glue will react like glitter - most will fall off. The greenery is moss bought from a craft store.

    Hi. My waves did not lace properly. I used the Blanco alcohol ink but the waves came out as chunky. Not a good attempt on my side. Any tips gratefully received.

    • @JulesMadisonArtByDesign
      @JulesMadisonArtByDesign  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      You can also add 99% isopropyl alcohol to your wave. The torch definitely helps the lacing though.

    what do you use like medium? that is, what do you use as a medium, that is, the first thing you put on the mdf? glue? vynavil?

    Im just curious why you didnt prime the mdf? Mdf should be primed from and back because of the air holes throughout esp in a humid climate...???

    • @JulesMadisonArtByDesign
      @JulesMadisonArtByDesign  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      There are no air holes in MDF because it is compressed medium density fiberboard. I often prime (usually actually) but in 10 years I've never had an issue, and I live part-time in the Caribbean - no issue with the humidity and my pieces there. But I really appreciate your comment. Thanks for watching 🌸

    Beautiful work. Just curious about sanding. What do you use? I have only tried tiny projects so far ans didn’t sand.

    • @JulesMadisonArtByDesign
      @JulesMadisonArtByDesign  4 ปีที่แล้ว

    CAN Y SAY ME WHAT YOU MIX WITH THE SAND GUM OR RESIN /

    • @JulesMadisonArtByDesign
      @JulesMadisonArtByDesign  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      I mix the sand with PVA glue not resin. It dries hard and looks natural.

    what kind of heat gun do you recommend?

    • @JulesMadisonArtByDesign
      @JulesMadisonArtByDesign  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      The Wen is good - just make sure you get one with attachments - particularly the snow plow looking one - great for getting resin drops off the back of art.🌸
