AQQA seems to be a solid heater for many applications, the built in features and safeguards are hard to find in heaters at this price point. Use this link> shareasale.com/r.cfm?b=1856999&u=3144906&m=115814&urllink=&afftrack= to get yours or anything Hygger or AQQA products and use code DeFreese to save yourself 15%. Thanks for watching!
Thanks, I try to give as much info as possible while trying to keep the video times down. I hope when I do these type of videos, that it helps viewers to get info they need and can use to help when making decisions on purchases and save money.
@@alisonnicholson Very true, that's where this one is going. I had put the dual heaters in the original video, but edited it out for the sake of time. I like to run two. Run one with the temp down a degree or two so neither one has to work too hard. It also acts as a fail safe, should one fail the other will come on and only have to heat up a degree to get back to temp.
Thanks for the video, Mr. DeFreese. I do not see, however, how to disassemble the enclosure for the heating element in order to clean it out. I think that you mentioned this in your video please let me know how that would be done. Thank you.
I accidentally hit the top button on temp setting and it keeps raising the temp…how do I get it back to my setting? I had it at 73 degrees and as I accidentally pressed on it it raised to 77..,help I looked at manual and no help there…how can I get it back to 73 degrees?
Have you tried to lower the temp? You can unplug for 15 minutes and remove from the tank. Then put it back in and set it up again with the temp you want it at. If that does not work, reach out to Service@aqqapet.com for further assistance. I did reach out to a contact at AQQA to see if there is another way to fix your issue and will comment back if they provide one.
Here's the info from AQQA Press the button on the top of the controller to increase by 1℉ or 1℃. We don’t have a decrease button, so we can only increase to the highest setting temperature of 93℉ (34℃). Press again to jump to the lowest setting temperature of 59℉ ( 15℃), and then increase to the desired set temperature. Simply put, the button can only increase all the time, and the set temperature is a cycle of 59℉-93℉
@@DeFreeseAquariums thank you- yes I finally figured out that I just keep pressing the temp button til it cycles back to the beginning. Thanks for your suggestions and help. ✌🏻
There are a few high wattage heaters available in the states. The more watts, the bigger the heating element. I like that hygger use two together to not have to have long heater rods/elements. Thanks for watching.

@@bluegrassannie0837 Welcome, glad you got it adjusted.
Why does it beep at 5 in the morning
I have no idea. Mine doesn't not beep. Do you see anything on the screen when it beeps? If not, reach out to Hygger support.
