- In this excerpt from an original supplement on our edition of Don't Look Now, editor Graeme Clifford talks to filmmaker Bobbi O'Steen about editing the film for director Nicolas Roeg. Don't Look Now is available now on Criterion Blu-ray and DVD.
Mr. Clifford refers to misdirection, mini-Macguffins, like the red coat. A film that weaves a disquieting feeling from start to horrific finale. Sutherland's fall in the church was nerve-wracking. No music cues, just the sounds of clanging iron. Perfect!
Watching Don’t Look Now is one of the best film schools of all time
Incredible film on every level.
Great analysis. Plus the prophetic images of the hanged man/woman brings to focus the esoteric elements in the film.
Nicolas Roeg is a great director
Great video, fascinating. I am so glad this channel is on YT!
Thank you, this made my day.
Best regards,
