I'm curious why leaning into it instead of standing tall is better. If you're standing tall then the weight is less, since the angle of the implement is higher?
Why not do the regular grip pronated. Why go neutral? The load is on triceps instead of the "shoulders." Also I tend to think you can lockout out better with the scapulas than with neutral. Why is that ?
1. While they are kneeling on a support, you hack ribs off of their spine with an axe... Oh I thought this was about how to properly execute a viking. My bad.
Realy cool and informative contant Mitchell, Keep it coming
These are excellent vids. Thank you.

x2
especially if it's a short aparatus
Maybe due to the angle of the lever will be pushing you off balance if you are straight up
@Mitchell Hooper. I do not have access to any viking press. What can I do to improvise?
You can use 2 barbells sideways in a rack. There are videos on TH-cam showing setup.
I actually do it like a shoulder press without the dip.
Should it go overhead like the barbell over head press?
💪💪💪💪💪
Is floating the bar okay as long as the implement doesn't continue to go down after you begin triple extension?
There is always going to be a little give if the bar floats. It might not be as excessive as he was demonstrating but there is still some power leak.
I love mafkin press
Don't double dip like thor!
Loads of athletes double dip to the same extent as Thor did. It's a very difficult rule to referee
You either press it or don't. When you been warned multiple times it definitely for sure is a issue. Simple.
