The line graph gives information about the regional households that recycle waste in the Uk, France, and Germany over a decade.
Overall, the recycling rates of the Uk and Germany are erratic but showed an upward trend, while the percentage of waste products recycled in France steadily plunged throughout the period.
In the beginning, the proportion of families recycling unwanted materials in the Uk and Germany were around 35% and 20% respectively. These figures experienced some fluctuations but maintained a steady growth. In 2015, the numbers hit their peaks, the Uk reaching just above 60% and Germany attaining approximately 58%.
In the early stage, France had the highest number of households that recycled wastes. However, the rate gradually plummeted to 40% in 2007. The figure showed a continuous fallback until it reaches a low point of about 30% in 2013 and significantly rose to 40% at the end of the period, having the least number of families that recycle wastes among the three countries.

In the start of the period UK and France were at 35 and 20 percentage respectively, yet France was on 50 percent in rates.
There has been seen a steadily progress in Germany since 2005 to the end of the period. While In Uk from 2007 to year 2009 a permanency has seen. After some time a rapid upward UK has witnessed in regional recycling at the end of the period.
On the other hand, France has showed a perpetuate decline from 50 percentage to 30 in the year of 2013. However, an upward curve has been noticed instantly after to 2013 to the last of the period bringing the rates to 40 percent in UK.

The line graph gives information about household recyling percentages in UK, France and Germany in ten-year period.
Overall, it is clear that while UK and Germany have a upward trend, France experiences decrease trend throughout the time period. At the beginning, although France’s houselhold recyling rate was the highest among the other countries, it positioned the last country at the end of the period.
In 2005, France had 50% recycling rate and until 2013 this ratio dropped steadily to 30%. In 2013, recyling rate of France rocketed about 10% and finished its rate about 40% end of the period.
Conversely, in terms of household recycling rate, Germany started its rate slightly higher than 20% and rose gradually up to nearly 60% over the time.
Moreover, UK’s household recyling rate also experience the same trend as Germany, starting with roughly 35% in the beginning. At the end of 2009, it only rose by 5%. In 2 years, UK’s household recyling rate showed us the sharpest increase among the other countries. By the end of 2015, UK’s recyling rate placed the first country as 60%.
hey guys I wrote down this what are your thoughts about it ? Can this essay deserve 7 or above ?

I don't think it could hit band 7 for several reasons:
      - Your tense was wrong in the overview, you used the present tense.
      - You didn't use the articles (a, an, the) well (e.g: in A ten-year period, AN upward trend, A decreasING trend etc.)
      - body paragraphs didn't start with a phrase that indicates the data in the paragraph (this is actually a requirement in Cohesion & Coherence marks)
      - "It is clear that"

"In" the end of the period" i think it is grammatically incorrect so this mistake affect your score and i think it isn't Band9 due to this mistake.
"At the end of the period" is correct i think

Not necessarily, but good to do so to indicate to the examiner clearly that it is an overview (otherwise it can always be inferred by the absence of any numbers and inclusion of a summary).

Hi! fellow warriors. Who is going to take on October 13, 2018? Raise your hands in the air... Also, do you think this technique of separate the line by trend is appropriate to use it with bar or pie chart as well? In the way I understood, and I've been practicing is: in the first paragraph I explain one of the line and write down one contrasting point with the other line, the remains sentences is to make contrasting and comparison with the same line, and this para is usually longer then the second one. On the other paragraph, I describe the other line with the same comparison/contrast with the other line and emphasizing what was the results at the end of the period given.
As for how to write numbers, I was pretty much confused until I saw a video where is more o less explain. To summarize, the lady there said the we must not add a "s" to year/month/day if they are adjectives, for instance: I have a three-year-old son, a 3-year period, and so on. As well, it was said that we should not use "S" with hundred/million/thousand, etc.
