The dog in the restaurant is great. I love Italy & Europe. We Americans are so uptight and arrogant and impressed with ourselves (which we should not be)
As a lad venturing out with mates to London, it was free bus rides up and down Oxford St. and Tottenham Court Rd. Loved the open corner buses. Rarely paid a fare. They were hop on hop off buses for sure 🚌🧛
The aromatic part is mainly in the skin... new information for me which is highly suss... Thinking about that statement though, it is possible that the garlic papers/skins greatly slow the flashing off of the garlic's Allyson and help infuse the oil with more garlic flavor than if ithey had been removed...

I love these italian cooking videos. I think they've really mastered cooking. Simple, fast, healthy, full of flavour.

And really tasty ingredients is important! If your tomatoes aren't great try caramelizing them first in the pan in some olive oil

It seems, after watching more than a half dozen of these videos, that in Italy no one uses fresh homemade pasta in their recipes. Is there a reason?
Maybe because to get a truly al dente pasta it has to be a dried pasta.
Dried pasta is considered superior for most dishes. My preference also.
