This movie immediately became one of the most powerful films ever created. Much needed during such unnerving times. This is just a piece of its entirety. I suggest anyone who hasn't watched it in film, do so now. It truly is a masterpiece.

I'm sorely tempted to think that the next government that comes after CWII should try to do something about that. Since people refuse to choose right that they should be barred from choosing. The next government should mandate placing a chemical or series of chemicals that would, in essence, sterilize the human population, both males in females. An infected male would have sperm that are unable to impregnate any female (even an uninfected one), and an infected female would have eggs that are unable to be fertilized (even by uninfected males). It would be temporarily reversible by a treatment or a series of treatments that would make the male and female fertile again for a brief period of time. The only thing that would have the treatment would be an A.I. and the government would only permit access to the A.I. for treatments after couples were forced to pass a series of tests (like physical, psychological, mental, financial, civilities, spiritual, etc.). Everyone who passes gets to procreate. Everyone who doesn't only needs to worry about STDs. It's a horrifying proposal, but abortion is even more horrifying, in my opinion and justifies such extreme measures.

Before my wife and I married, and well before we became Christians, we had an abortion. She had cancer (still does) and the doctor told us there was a possibility there could be complications but that it wasn’t definite. Because we did not have the guidance of the Holy Spirit in our lives, we could not make rational decisions, and, unfortunately, we gave into our worst fears and anxieties. But I wish I could go back and change it. Not a day goes by that we do not feel the regret over it. We have since repented, naturally, and thus forgiven, but the pain is still there. It always will be.
If you are thinking about having an abortion, please, I beg you, do not do it. Pray, ask the Lord for help and guidance. Pray for the most blessed Virgin for her intercessions, for her Son never refuses her requests. May God help you.

Something I realize about the story of demons, is that they don’t have an arch ever. They are stagnant. A battle they can’t possibly win, couldn’t have possibly won at all. Ever angry, ever rebellious. But what about after that? They fought, they fell, then what? All the anger and thoughts of morality and yet it’s always pointed at what humans do and humans actions. I would be like if you guys were as great as you say you are, you would’ve learned after all this time, not sprouting the same shit you did 2000 years ago and still mad about shit haha.

And if that isnt true then they are just simply trying to take as many as they can down with them before the day of reckoning because they feed off of torment despite knowing they themselves will be cast to the deepest pit alongside them.

"Love is the law, love under will". That means you don't fuck with anybody else against their will. It means my freedom ends where yours begins.

The idea of "Moloch" as an actual deity has not been taken seriously by Biblical scholars for nearly a hundred years. Instead, it appears to be a word that refers to the act of infant sacrifice by Israelites to Yahveh.
God IS "Moloch" or at the very least, the act of "moloch"-the act of infant sacrifice-was to appease God, not any other deity.

      1. The power of God is fully represented in the scene with James' attempted suicide under demonic possession. Before the demon made James shoot himself, James cried out for God's help after which the perfectly normal gun malfunctioned 3 times in a row. If this isn't the representation of the power of God, I don't know what is.
      2. The priest in the movie represents the now-corrupt church that only believes in the "appropriate" parts of the original faith and heretically chooses to disregard the rest. Also, if the priest was to actually do a proper job, we wouldn't have a movie, now, would we?
Go rewatch the film but this time without 2x speed, background music and subway surfers gameplay plastered on half the screen because you clearly missed the whole point.

If demon-possession were real and I was to witness something like this, I would absolutely believe in Christianity. Until it can be empirically demonstrated, this is as much fiction as the stories in the Bible. If the supposed demon was alive in ancient Israel, he would know _Moloch_ was a type of sacrifice directed towards Ba'al, Yahweh, El, etc., and not a name of a Canaanite deity. He would also know the extent of redaction in the Hebrew Bible by Second Temple era scribes distorting their actual history.

So a anti abortion speech from the devil. Hmm, definitely a Christian film.
I myself have my own questions and reason to this sence, as how hyperbolic it can be to abortion, as I am not pro nor anti, as to my perspective Abortion should be done when in reason, like if giving birth is life threatening to the mother, even still honestly must be made for the woman and man in the situation, to have the objective choice be made that is best.
I will say, like The Devil's Advocate, this is a good speech and scene, mix with pathos and ethos very well. My only issue if this film gonna be playing a cliche, a "none believer to a believer" story trope, like many exorcist/ supernatural storytelling.
Overall, I shall check this film out later.

Still, it is odd how the Devil was more giving a warning and even sound like a anti abortion talk, as if that was a anti abortion talk from the writer himself.
