7:15 Actually a pretty cool example of an underflow rollover(maybe that's not quite the right term). The GoPro uses a 64 bit system, so the amount of space of the SD card is stored in 64 bits. Every electronic device and technology ever including your tv can have a burn in on the screens if left on for too long, that's why screensavers are a thing which is why you see less burn-ins with recent technology. My guess is the people disabled screensaver and just left it on or the monitor is not in good quality to be durable.

Does ANYBODY know what that black stuff supposedly coming out of the computer is?? Could it be ink from a printer and the OP is incorrect as to the source?
8:18 It's a portable hard drive enclosure, and the part that broke is a weird, extended version of Micro-USB port and cable that supported USB 3.0, but also a regular Micro-USB cable. Notably, the Galaxy S5 would have this port, and accept both regular Micro-USB(ubiquitous) and the extended version(USB 3.0 data transfer speed with the right cable). Yes, that phone has potentially faster transfer speed out of its charging port than the base iPhone(all generations), and still retains IP68 rating AND a removable back. Man.
I've seen the extra width micro USB on external hard disks as well. It's to support the 5 extra pins that USB 3.0 specifies (in a USB A connector these are a bit more hidden).

9:35 when i was in my design robotics class, someone left one of these under the table, so when i went to plug in my hot glue gun, i couldn't see the electrocution hazard and got shocked
8:25, That's a USB 3.0 B micro SATA HDD/SSD enclosure. It can be used to convert those old 2.5"/3.5" SATA HDDs/SSDs to USB, to be used as a external HDD/SSD. And that cable is the 3.0 version of the old USB B micro, hence it has extra bit for extra wires.
2:48 Maybe coolant from a liquid cooling system? That's my best guess. I don't know why it would be black, but hey, there are many different setups, many closed to the end-user, so they may not even know what color, if any, the coolant has. So that could be it.

8:52 Unfortunalty, the game Satisfactory is known for being hard to run and it is almost 26 GB on install. (so without the saves). I did get to see some blue sceen because of that game, but this is a special kind of blue screen.
8:18 That's a USB 3.0 Micro-B. Common on external hard drives. (In the picture is a casing for 2.5" SATA hard drive)
The left part is identical to a USB 2.0 Micro-B, so you can use it with a common phone charger cable (It will be a lot slower tho)
2:49 DO NOT TOUCH THAT THAT IS ACID CLEAN YOUR HANDS AND CLEAN THAT TABLE WITH A BATTERY ACID CLEANER

Actually a pretty cool example of an underflow rollover(maybe that's not quite the right term). The GoPro uses a 64 bit system, so the amount of space of the SD card is stored in 64 bits. Somehow the value likely ended up going below 0, which isn't possible in this type of data, so it rolled over to the maximum value possible in 64 bits.
5:25 HOW do you break a DS?! IVE HAD MY 3DS SINCE 2014 AND HAVE DROPPED IT ONTO CONCRETE SO MANY TIMES, HELL ONCE I DROPPED A CUP OF WATER ON IT ON ACCIDENT WHILST IT WAS OPEN AND ITS STILL IN PERFECT CONDITION
you drop it when it's open, and it lands face down.
that's how.
Well that was a 2DS. No idea if they're less durable (though they look like they'd be designed otherwise) but my brother dropped his once and the plastic on the back inverted (there's like a tab sticking out that can't go back in and shouldn't have even come out)
@@shirothefish9688 can confirm, killed the screen on my old 3ds xl like this. It was also onto uneven tile, so some areas got way more of the impact
@ They are more durable, to my knowledge
but you drop anything on the screen wrong enough, and it'll have problems.
Back when I had my ds I sat it on the arm of the couch but I underestimated the balance and it fell onto the hardwood floor. The screen got fucked.
4:10 you know, just a _little bit_ colder than the literal coldest possible temperature in the universe?
I'm guessing that the spicy pillow masquerading as an airbag is just Lexikitty reminding Zach who REALLY deals with IT
8:25 that is a USB 3.0 to USB Micro cord. It is basically two micro usb plugs besides each other to get the number of wires that USB 3.0 has.
this man went from may 12th to july 15th through a full year, and his chromebook forgot to restart 1:29
2:55 why am I seeing so much stuff about burn-in within the past like year. I thought that didn’t happen anymore with newer devices, only like old crts and stuff
Every electronic device and technology ever including your tv can have a burn in on the screens if left on for too long, that's why screensavers are a thing which is why you see less burn-ins with recent technology. My guess is the people disabled screensaver and just left it on or the monitor is not in good quality to be durable.
Burn in shouldn't happen on LCD displays, but it does happen on OLED (because the leds get dimmer the longer they are at higher brightness)
0:39 me when im reading a book and have to reread because I was to ingrosed in it to remember I'm reading it lol
1000 years not counting, might not be software gore. Someone could have accurately decided nobody alive ever will have a 4 digit age. That way the person attending it effectively wrote "0"

9:50 actually, since only one side is connected, you are fine to just grab it. I would still recommend using your hand and not a metal tool, but since it's not connected ur fine

Does ANYBODY know what that black stuff supposedly coming out of the computer is?? Could it be ink from a printer and the OP is incorrect as to the source?
At 7:52, I believe it's pen ink, someones pen must've exploded in their pocket with their phone, therefore doing this.
8:18
It's a portable hard drive enclosure, and the part that broke is a weird, extended version of Micro-USB port and cable that supported USB 3.0, but also a regular Micro-USB cable.
0:45 Maybe it was a time sync? The system time was rewind to few seconds so this graph goes back and continued from that past point.

2:45 WHY WOULD YOU PUT YOUR FINGERS IN THE MYSTERIOUS BLACK LIQUID??? that shit could be the venom symbiote. you know when you’re watching a horror movie you can laugh at the characters being dumb, but then you think about real life people for a second and it’s like “oh. yeah. we’re actually that dumb.” not everyone, but. wow.

Maybe coolant from a liquid cooling system? That's my best guess.
I don't know why it would be black, but hey, there are many different setups, many closed to the end-user, so they may not even know what color, if any, the coolant has. So that could be it.
