you could just buy a decent 3 way bookshelf speaker. with audio it's always the flavour of the month issue. and i would digress telling bookshelf speakers sound bad in a bookshelf. just use a closed bookshelf speaker or front ported. problem solved.
Just a random thing popped into my mind when you said that book shelf speakers can be placed in actual bookshelfs, here it is : A large openback bookshelf closet with about 10x10 or 8x8 horizontal and vertical shelfs all filled with satelites as some sort of line array, maybe subwoofers at the lowest row of shelves, or maybe cover all shelf holes with 18mm mdf and cutout holes at every shelf hole and mount fullrangers in every hole
@@cybernaab Subwoofers in a bookshelf is a bad idea in general. Closing the shelf is a no go. The larger volume of the shelf will enhance the sub bass and the fullness of a bookshelf speaker.
@@Techscrews but we will never find out what we are missing out on. From your video i could conclude that bookshelf speakers sounds better in your space/apartment.

I like bookshelf speakers because they have less bass because i live in an apartment. But bokkshelf speakers can go pretty loud.

Its blind best beauty, while you dont compare speakers, they all sound good.
