Freediving with White Seabass in Southern California

Hey everyone, welcome back to another video. This day was pretty special in that we stumbled upon the laziest school of white seabass I had ever seen. A friend and I went out on a shore dive to try our luck with some day time lobster near the start of the season and came across these beautiful 20-40lb white seabass in the shallow water. I have seen them in this area before around the same time of year but still am not sure why! I hope you enjoy the short clip as much as I did!
