This scene is actually very telling and would have added to the narrative. Especially the casually way in which she climbs onto his lap, besides being romantic in a different way, is definitely an indication of the unconscious change their relationship takes and would explain a lot. I guess they cut it because the movie was becoming too long.
This is raw footage so Mayank's face not fitting properly in the cell phone screen could easily be corrected in editing, so that's not the reason for deleting the scene.

I noticed on a rewatch that whenever we see them sleeping, she has joined him on the floor - just like she did when they were hiding out from the gang in Prague. So, when she finally says (after this scene) that she is taking him to HER bed ... it indicates that he was never pushing himself at her. Subtle detail, but really adds nuance to the way they connect.

It was an intensely romantic movie... the scene immediately after which Sejel was nursing his head wound was so HOT 🔥 and brought out both the passionate and moral sides of his personality was epic!!! What fantastic acting on both their parts... really good chemistry! ❤🥰❤

It was a masterpiece.... Shahrukh, nobody can doo this acting like him.... Harry, a man with deep feelings. I just love the film and can watch n number of times... It required a class audience to understand and feel this movie.
What's with "acts with the eyes" in the comments section always? So weird! Yeah - actors use everything - it's called acting. Do you expect they're eyes to be doing something opposite and inconsistent with their face and voice and scenes? Like eating a large sandwich while singing and dancing?

No it was never meant in the movie because these little can be fixed by vfx. And by the way, whenever there is a computer or phone or any electrical device that is suppose to show a picture or a video while always be done in post production of the film.
