Even i saw this 10 days back. And true I can feel each and every scene of this movie and can feel emotions. Saw this movie when it was released but couldn't connect as that time i was not in one sided love but today when i am heartbroken...i cn feel it and especially this song. Words cannot express the feeling i had after watching these scenes now...cried whole night 10 days back.
Hats off to Story writer and director of this movie but those who can feel will only like this.
Best scene according to me was when Anushka left and Shahrukh realised his love while guiding his tourists and could not speak because of thoughts of Anushka and he realised that he will suffer this pain if he will not confess.😭

Nope, the movie trailers are to be blamed for it. It was portrayed as a typical rom-com which people were tired of watching during that time, so songs too got ignored. Had it not been a platform like Gaana.com I too would have missed such a soulful song.

This movie seems to be with basic storyline but it has got many layers and hence it blooms slowly and stays forever with you. Imtiaz is an esoteric director who can be understood only by few. The way he spins the love between two strangers is amazing with soulful lyrics from Irshad Kamil. Yadon mein was truly a great experiment that it haunts you in a magical way. It takes you altogether to different state of mind from which u never want to return back. Jonita Gandhi with her mellifluous voice nailed this song. And not to forget Mohammad Irfan for taking this track further on another level. Thank God this movie was a flop so it remained a GEM I guess. Since Hits are commercial which cannot convey something powerful, magical and rare spell which only GEMS of this kind bound to etch on minds of people who understand the depth of this genre

Now, this is what I call music, nothing fancy, just pure and amazing music which tries to express an emotion using music as a means of communication.
All SRK flops in the last 5-6 years will be remembered in the future for their amazing creativity, they may lack in some departments but they excel in some of the most understated departments. Jab Harry met Sejal could be watched just to enjoy the cinematography and Music.

I've only recently heard this song and I can't believe it took me this long to find this gem of a song. Such a beautiful composition inspired by Portuguese Fado songs. Hats off to Pritam and the amazing singers behind this song.

I loved the movie and loved SRK's Harry even more. He was perfection personified as Harry... extraordinary to say the least. The movie did quite well overseas but domestically, it fell short. It's okay. These things happen but we have got Harry to cherish for the rest of our lives. It was definitely meant for a mature audience... especially someone who has loved or has some idea about love. Imtiaz created a visually delightful palette, the music was the perfect mix of all kinds of songs that are supposed to be there in a love story, the dialogues are exceptional by Imtiaz himself, the lyrics by Irshad Kamil are as deep as they can be, the cinematography is amazing, the background score is beautiful n fun and the movie on the whole is so fresh n heartwarming that you can't help but fall in love with it. It remains one of my most favourites ever. Love to SRK ❤❤❤

When I told all my friends that i really loved the film on its release, many laughed at me. I am thankful to God I belong to this section of people who loves these content rather than masala junk. The pain, emotion, feelings, lyrics, heart touching music, direction by Imtiaz Ali depeicted in this song, the entire nepotism family together in their entire lifetime cannot achieve 1% of it.

What an opera-style masterpiece. I can't believe how poorly this album was promoted. There's one excellent song after another, yet they chose the two weakest songs for promotions.
They couldn’t promote the other songs too much. They gave away movie plot points.
This isn't opera. The music is on Fado tune. Fado is traditional Portuguese melancholic music.

As an Imtiaz Ali fan, I make it a point to watch all of his movies in theatres and so glad I watched this one too along with my family and all the people in my family loved it as well. Most of the pretentious film enthusiasts appreciate 'In the mood for love', but find this film trash. Just because it comes out of India, and that too stars SRK. I too found the pace of the film slow, but the film story had its own pace and took time with characters. Definitely one of the film's which stayed with me, and grew on me with time. There were some irrelevant sub plots but the film can't be just completely dissed on that basis. The cinematography is beautiful, acting by Srk is subtle and authentic, music by far best and underrated- i guess with time this definitely will get cult status.
