The notes that I prepared after watching the video : Introduction Core principles: 1. Dichotomy of control.
• Determining what is in your control and what's not. • You can't control external events, but you can control your responses to them. • Can control : opinions, beliefs, actions, behaviors, judgement, and desires (choose desire for wisdom). In short, our input to any external event. • Can't control : other's actions, external events, random events, things like genetics, inevitable aging, reputation. • Provides sense of freedom.
2. Virtue as the highest good.
• Ability to judge right and wrong. Providing justification to your daily actions. In short, having good qualities. • Being virtuous is enough for being happy.
3. Living acc. To nature.
Acknowledging the divine order. Includes acceptance of fate.
4. Emotional resilience
Don't let your emotions overweigh you.
5. Daily practice and reflection.
Application of your knowledge. Reflecting on your daily actions and thoughts.

I'm a 11th grader rn preparing for jee though I always had a great intrest in philosophy from class 9 th i shall pursue it too after proving myself after the exam . Thank you Bhai for the lectures and the making the whole lecture intresting ❤
Love it how you explained everything @9 minutes mark. That's the crux of how people think these days. My problem is a problem but others should deliver it 100%. Thank you.
Marcus Aurelius is such an inspirational figure. I believe Stoicism really was successful to discover the best way of living life. Well every good philosophy is hard to embody but you gotta keep practising it till it becomes your natural response to the adversities in life. Great video, One of its kind i must say. I would love a dedicated lecture on Marcus Aurelius. Much love to everyone
Stoicism is probably the best Philosophy cause all successful people follow it in someform or the other ... whether it is a warrior, sportsman , scientist or bussinessman etc..
Not really i think so because the absurdism is the best i know philosophy is subjective but i think so that the person who is successful in this world doesnt matter because the world doesnt matter at all no one will ever remember them like newton and others the world doesn't matter at all it's absurd

Hello Bhaiya Aapko 30-40 minute kaa video bnana chahiye....aur ye 2 hour kaa video parts me divide kr dena chahiye Kyuki logo ko aadat ho gya hai chote video dekhne kaa. Bahut log yaa tou kaam k kaaran bich m chore dete hai long video ko. Aapse request hai ki long videos ko part me divide kr k release kare...isse aapka kuch nhi jaayega prr aapke channel kaa reach aur badhega aur sabse jaroori baat logo ko phyada hoga
Does anyone agree with me on the fact that, Bhagavat Gita’s teachings are kinda similar with Stoicism. You can perform your duties you are destined with but not entitled to control the events or enjoy the fruition. Therefore, refrain yourself from the attachment of success and failure. Kinda similar I find.
During listening your lecture on stoicism. I think stoicism is based on tolerance but excess tolerance leads to being supressed. Because people will think he is weak thats why he is not responding . What about it? Sir please answer me.
