I remember the rerolling frenzy during the launch week, I just got Mona on my 3rd reroll and was so happy with a 5* I stuck with that account. Later got Venti the same week as well. That is still my main Genshin account, not that I play on other accounts.
I bought into the fear that re-rolling your accounts would get you banned, so I never did it, and now sit forever in constant pain not having ever gotten 1 Mona since launch... (Screaming begins again)

I started like July 2021 and wanted and waited for Venti for nearly a year April 2022, lost his 50/50 to Mona at 58, then got him guranteed at 77, then won Ayato's 50/50 at 16 right after F2P (also got 18 pity guranteed Zhongli, 50 pity 50/50 Itto, and 2 pity 50/50 Kazuha after losing Klee's 50/50 to new Diluc 75 then getting Klee at 77)
I reroll 20 times for Jean, fucking worth it Took me 2 years+ to get my first copy of Diluc so if I'm unlucky I might get Jean like 2 years later or never. Like I get that you don't need any 5 star to beat the game but I'm here for Waifu so of course I will reroll, or you can just buy account starter, they cost like 5-10 USD depend on which starter you want. Much better than spending a week doing 100 reroll
i rerolled till AR5 for tartaglia back in 1.4. first account, got nothing. second account, first single pull on event banner, Diluc. beginners wish, Qiqi. needless to say i kept that account lol. funnily enough, i gave my first reroll account to a friend and 12 more pulls later he got tartaglia, and then jade spear on standard banner lmfao. so both my reroll accounts were super lucky.
I played genshin when the 1.0 already halfway and I started it, with rerolling and ended up spending the whole 1.0 rerolling LMAOO. Because back then rerolling doesn't need email nor phone number. I rerolled for like maybe 15-20 times and ended up maybe 5 or 8 rerolled account that has 5-star and all of em has different 5 stars (still, some of the acc has same 5 star character). The funny thing is, the reason I rerolled is Diluc and I got him on the second account, but I doesn't stop and keep looking for double 5 stars summon. After all that reroll shenanigans I decided to stop after 1.0 ended, and ended up playing that second account that has Deeluk innit lol

I tried to do the reroll thing in my beginning days when I started around 1.3. I still got that second acc floating in the cosmos and as you can see, I never went back to it so it’s still floating in the cosmos. It didn’t take long for me to feel how unnecessary it was to even go through all of that, and maybe it was because I was forming an attatchment to my main and made so much good progress even with the 5050 losses. So I just left it alone and said “Que sera, sera” it ain’t that deep for me lol😂
