Teardrop shape really evident when water is in the pond - really looks nice! I wish the other 500K'ish subscribers were watching - - they're missing out!
Love the Ruckus Rake and the awesome finish it gives, sorry it broke. This pond is everything you said it would be, lovely shape, perfect setting, calm & peaceful. Thanks for sharing your home with us all.
The bracket that broke on the rake looks poorly designed. Welding will hold it for awhile but the manufacturer should send out heavy duty replacements.
@@nandi123 That web looked way too thin for the punishment that section would take. Some extra angled plates over the left and right or the pivot would not be amiss once the original weld is reattached.
You know Chris, I think operating equipment is your way of relaxing and like other people might play video games, after operating equipment for customers. In fact, I can see you in the kitchen with a Micro Mini Excavator cracking eggs with the bucket, and using the thumb and bucket to turn the steaks or bacon. Pond is looking really nice. Can't wait to see it full and the grass on the dam. Thanks for sharing.
well dang I'm not the only one with equipment issue this weekend.. That was a good job breaking the power rake.. never seen one brake like that.... Professionaly done.. lol
You're getting the hang of maximizing the power band on that 953 and not killing it down too far. Got to ease back on the stick and let it catch up...feel the power coming in then. Nothing like seat time for learning the peculiarities of different equipment.
Hey Chris I gotta say thank you. You work so hard and put all this out daily. Your channel is 1 of 2 that I love to watch. Thank you for everything you do
With the fleet of equipment that you have, and a plan in place, there is no way I see that something can’t be done, got to love it. With the Taco and the power rake breaking down, it does slow you down, but the bright side of it, if you will, is that it happened on your project on your property. Really nice looking project young man, thanks for the update.
At first, I couldn't really see the pond dam but as the work progressed I could see it all. Thing is you have surpassed what I could see!! Job well done Chris. PS: Don't forget to extend the pipe!!
Nice work on the pond and fish habitat Chris. You should consider adding pea gravel for bluegill spawning habitat. Around the dock and the shallow areas (1-3 ft deep) at the head of the pond would be ideal.
Hi Chris. It is very nice. I imagine it being nice and relaxing, for the most part, to be able to do that on your own property. Happy for you. God bless you! Ed from Chicago 🙂
He does doesn't he?! I've been working on mine and can get going again since stuff has dried out . . again. When it doesn't go right I just think "What would Chris do here?"
shaped up nicely Chris, hope you get some nice storms to fill it up and get the grass growing in that beautiful topsoil.. don't forget your ladder from when you jumped the electric fence, I spotted it a couple of times in your videos having a lay down 😄
Another pond done and dusted. Looks great. Bummer on your rake. Maybe it will fill before summer and you can take and afternoon or two and enjoy the water and a cold drink. Thanks Chris.
Proud of how u handled all the breakdowns. The pond looks beautiful, as always! Fish habitat will bless many to enjoy n future. Meticulous work as usual. Thank u for video! God's blessings and be careful.
I be damn !! Can you believe that the whole damn ruckus rake broke clean off !! Believe I'd be taking a few pics, and send to the ruckus rake dealer, I could see may be a weld cracking but, a total fail in the weld !! Oh Hell No !! You spend way to much money on your machines and attachments for that mess to be happening... Well, after all that, The pond has turned out really nice !! Really going to look good , once the grass comes in around it, real nice !! Well, Chris, Hate that all that mess happened to the skid steer , and rake but, like you say, " It is what it is"" lolol... just have to get them fixed and move on !! Just waiting for round 3 of more Thunder Storms to move back in here this evening...lololol.... Drowning here in W. Ky....lololol...
After following you for some time now I believe there are two items missing in your equipment inventory for you to be a modern earth moving company. The first is a donkey cart with extra wide tires and second is a big mule. Then when you can't work with the heavys because of the mud you could put snowshoes on the mule and, mud, what mud. Great job on the pond. Thanks for allowing us to follow along. TV
Your property there has plenty of red clay available, like it was meant to have a clay bottom pond there. Great job, it's always a pleasure seeing the outcome of your projects. Holy busted ruckus.
Topsoil! We tried a bag of topsoil from Lowes a few years ago to see what they called topsoil. It wasn't soil, it was engineered failure. The make up was sand and mulch, which couldn't grow anything. It took 5 years for the "topsoil" to erode away. That bag appeared to be so easy, but it was a rip off.
Chris I can say, You have the Farm Pond nevertheless Finish : the home for the Fish is in the Pond, the Native Soil of the Dam angry, okay the last Perfection Work is more to make. You have in short Time a wonderful Pond to build. Videos to profane, with all the Best possible and all breakdowns. Thanks for this all to see. 💪👌👍🤗
Good top soil from the hay field road. The rake seems to be deficient in strength in that swivel joint - also does that pin have a grease fitting?, if it bound up that could cause the rip apart.
Time for a high flow skid steer is what the issue is. lol Puts the tilt bucket into size perspective when you can fill it with the backhoe front bucket and barley spill any.
Beautiful pond Chris, man ya got some carnage happening, ahh your have that on these big jobs, fixer er up an weld it an get back to it, thanks for sharing an I look forward to seeing the next video 💪🇺🇲🤙✊👌
Although Mr. Bealy Good did compliment you on your overflow calculation for the drain, I think you need to explain water levels to him. Like the difference between normal & storm surge so his poor dock doesn't become a raft. It did make the water wheel chair accessable though!
Look up Reimer tuning…. Did my TL12 a last fall and couldn’t be happier. 10hp more,no def at all, better on fuel, and it was less then the new DEF quality sensor and labor quote!
