Another timeless masterpiece by Moloko. Perfect mood, energy, piercing lyrics, that voice, and a great musical arrangement...one of those songs that will never expire. I'm a senior now (technically) and I still remember this song playing in my gatherings during my "prime" times ;)
What a wonderful song, I remember being here 20 years ago, in Portugal, at "Hype at Meco", where she sang that song, it was when I found this wonderful song existed. I live 800 meters away from the place the stage was, and I was here sat outside at the garden watching the stars, and listening to this wonderful song, it felt great. It was on 10th July 2004, 20 years ago. When I hear this song I recall being there at night watching the stars and listening her singing this music live. :)
That tech beat is just.. perfect, they don't make it like this anymore. You can feel the dark scary yet exhilerating and unresistable call of the night life, lit by the neon lights of the city, a multitude of colours reflecting on the cold dark wet pavement, but then the vocals kick in and they bring a human emotion side to the whole track, the warmth of the soul which comes in perfect contrast with the cold industrial vibe of the tech instrumental, balance in it's most perfect musical form. A track that has deep meanings if one is willing to understand them. It is and will remain a unique clasic.

If you know what to look for, you will immediately realize that these are improvised movements, as when professional dancers dance to some song they really like, but they are dancing more relaxedly and even lazily, just having fun, not really applying themselves fully. The video and choreography are nevertheless fantastic, not to mention the song itself, which is just great, period. And her outfit... A sublime experience.

I can't get enough of this video. I've loved Moloko and the song for such a long time and fairly recently looked it up on TH-cam. I think it's their best video; love the choreography and techniques used. I just wish the entire song was featured. I'm glad Roisin is still going at it with her solo stuff. Keep it up ;)
