omg all of these looks are killer. Honestly tho super cool that you had the chance to be so adventurous with your hair when you were younger, I just starting branching out with my hair at 21 (fully blue for about 3 months) and I feel like there's a lot of pressure nowadays for fashion colors to look super polished and professional. Makes me wish I'd started earlier. In other news, I'm about to find some high quality Noodle pics and go cut my bangs XD

i went through my emo phase in 8th grade, and i really wanted black hair. my parents hated the idea of me making my naturally blond hair black so we met in the middle and they let me get brown hair with really chunky blond highlights (that Rachel from friends look). After that I went a reddish-brown. Then just brown. Then blonde again. My junior year of high school I finally convinced my mom to let me color is purple (ultra violet from manic panic, to be exact) and since then it’s been purple, green, grey, and now it’s turquoise.
tbh 6 years and way too many at home dye jobs later, I still don’t think I’ve grown out of my emo phase

Nooooo don't let someone tell you the gray makes you washed out!!! It's not even true!!! You looked happy and alive with the silver/gray!! I understand that person prob thought they were helping but I swear people look happiest and best in the colors they are drawn to. I feel like I was the most happy with my hair when it was neon yellow at the end even though I'm sure most people thought it looked strange with my strawberry blonde hair but TOO BAD. I hope that if you want to go silver again you know that you looked beautiful with it and try it again!!! Loved this video. Started watching it the first time it was uploaded and then didn't finish it cause I got too tired and then woke up the next day to finish it and it wasn't there anymore, so I'm glad you brought it back lol.

Quack I am LIVING for that last shot of the blue crimped hair. The composition and lighting is so friggin stellar, you've grown so much when it comes to photographing yourself you should be proud! At 24:37 thats when I started watching you! Also I started dying my hair when I was 12, they were red highlights lol, I had every color on my head for 11 years and then I stopped dying and grew it out and I haven't touched dair dye for two years but I have to say, i'm really itching for a crazy hair color now
I loved my Chelsea in 2003, but I also felt very insecure growing it out. It grows out very awkwardly. A friend also did mine.
I went through so many hair colour as well. Ketchup or "Rihanna" red was a big colour for me (before she even had the red) and then a bit more pink. I was really into it but it's a lot to maintain and take care of. I also did all my hair colour changes myself in my room mostly late at night or alone. Ha! Now I've settled with my brown.
This was awesome! Cant wait to see what comes next! Yes, my hair phases actually got me suspended for 3 days cause my brite ketchup red hair was a distraction to other kids in highschool! True story:)

I gave myself a mullet, too. I always cut my own hair in middle school. I had those terrible neon pink and blue single streak extensions from hot topic, and i wore it as a part of my bangs. I still dye my own hair, but my cousin is a hairdresser, so I've learned a lot from her. No more box dye

I had a little incident two years ago where we were trying to bleach the bottom half of my head with splat (don’t use splat please ever!!) and I had previously put red box dye on it. Anyways, the metals in the box dye mixed with the bleach and a chemical reaction occurred, burning off half of my hair! (I had finally grown it long enough to put it up without using bobby pins as well) and I ended up having to get it shaved, and it looked like yours did! It was a huge spot and I ended up cutting my hair last fall to be the same length as it (about shoulder length now). The lesson here is: do not use splat and don’t let your friends dye your hair!
