Those are big dragonflies! I was surprised to hear you call this pattern easy. I appreciate your walking us through the process. Going to be beautiful.
Hey, when you cut out the black you don't cut it in the dragonfly shape. You cut them out individually, this saves a lot of fabric . Then apply colour pieces then you place them together on the background and then iron in dragon fly shape. Also make sure you draw in paper side of the wonder under.😊
I’m learning about appliqué on a project right now too. I’m wondering if you could’ve just lined up all the wings and bodies on the wonder under instead of putting them in their full position. Maybe would have saved space?
I love seeing the process. It's going great!
I cannot wait to see the process I love all your quilts but this one might just be my favourite when it’s finished I look forward to more episodes
Thanks for sharing! It is gonna be beautiful when you get finished! Looking forward to next video ❤😘🧶😊

Same results, no?

I could have but then guaranteed I woukd have mixed them up in the end. You know how my brain works.
When you draw on the paper side, do you pin the pattern right side up or right side down? It looked like you did it both ways.
Right side down
Can you post a video once complete?
I am posting 1 x month on this project. Last Tuesday of the month. Next one is next week.
