- In this video, Jeremy and I begin the first part of our Superior Coastal Duo Challenge - the 60 km in-and-out trail at Pukaskwa National Park.
In this video, we hike from the beginning of the trail at Hattie Cove to the end at North Swallow.
Be sure to catch Part 2, where we hike 60 kms back from North Swallow to Hattie Cove. If you'd like more information on the Coastal Trail in Pukaskwa National Park, be sure to check out my Trail Overview Video (coming soon!).

I cut the trails in 1980 👍🏻
It's a beautiful video without any Music and quality information and pics. Thanks for posting.
Great Hike bypass going to Soo
Great video! Look like a great hike!
So impressive. Good for you guys 🙌
Great video! I'm going to add this to my must-hike list.
You absolutely should! It was an awesome adventure!
Thanks for sharing! This is great footage that few get to see.
Thanks Dan! It was an awesome adventure!
Beautiful trail. Looks challenging. How does it compare to La Cloche in Killarney. Looks like a combo of Algonquin forest and Killarney rock.
Hi @hoser7706! It is just as challenging as Killarney. I find that, for some, it might be considered more challenging because it's linear and you are more remote. That's just my 2-cents worth.
We really enjoy your videos and hope to try backpacking soon.
Thanks! I hope you get the chance to get out there and try it. If you have any questions, let me know!
Is the trail marked with blazes?
Yes, it’s marked with blazes and cairns.

Hi Laura
Great video, great view. Speedy recovery on your leg. Is this trail more challenging then Bruce Trail?
Hi Lucia, thanks so much! The leg is doing better now. Yes, this trail is more challenging than the Bruce Trail. The terrain is much more rugged and, being more remote that the Bruce Trail, it takes more planning and preparation. However, it's beautiful country and we really love it up there. :)
That detour before the boardwalk was so shitty on the feet! I messaged them the other day and it is now complete. Planning my return already.
Oh, it was awful! I'm glad they've finished the new board walk. :)
