  • One year in and I am still enjoying this plane immensely. It was challenging yet fun to edit this video because there were numerous instances where I was able to tediously match the movement of the plane to the sounds and flow of the music. I equate this kind of video making to building an elaborate puzzle where the pieces are shaped by sound. Some of the sequences matched up so well that it's as if the music was made for the flight path of the plane. The sequence at 2:06 matched up so well that it is hard to believe I found that clip to fit from over an hour of flight footage and clips. Not too shabby if I don't say so myself. :) Enjoy.

Nice. Glad to see I’m not the only one affected by the gravity.

Just fun and gravity had some opposition to contend with (wind) which made for some very cushy crashes! Lol! Nice flying!

Thats some nice editing there. Seems like a nice spot for the Ahi even if it is different.

Kick Goldenrod it is much more forgiving for crashes than beachside cliffs.:)

Hey where's that inland spot you're flying? I live in San Diego and I'm into slope too, but normally I just fly at daves beach

captaincam5 that’s sorrento valley blvd down below. i’m to the south east of it. the 805/5 merge is to the left. the grass hillside is a lot more conducive to trying tricks and things that could end up in a crash. Whenever I’m flying along cliffs by the beach, there’s always that hesitation to do anything too crazy for fear of getting stuck on the cliff. The spot works well when the wind is coming more out of the north west. It’s not very good if the wind is coming directly onshore. Access is from the business park up on the hill. It’s behind the buildings and I only fly there on weekends. During the weekday there are many people in the office buildings nearby where I suspect I would cause a distraction. You’ll have to Google map it.
