A genuinely honest portrayal of the pains and pleasures, especially with such a tight turnaround. (I'm sure that you had checked the availability of the cast and crew in advance, but nonetheless...) The attention to detail - "it won't matter"... No, actually, yes it will ! Exactly my experience, sectioning things out, adjusting every part of every shot. Often to the great pain of production managers. Watching your final cut, my only thought is that you could have indulged the final product a bit more, but in all, amazing work. Lots of thought and effort expertly showcased to learn and appreciate from. Thank you.

My friend Billy Ray (not the singer lol the screenwriter of The Hunger Games movie, and a bunch of other films - he's also a film director) will drive around LA until he finds the best movie soundtrack that helps him find the mood of the film he's going to write, then will drive around with it playing while thinking up ideas. Then go home and work on the outline. Similar to what you did.
