Love this video. My family is from Mazatlan and I haven’t gone in years. We will be traveling this summer and the biggest issue was trying to convince my husband that like you said , it’s no more dangerous than being in the US.
Also I have to share that I loved when you showed all the noises coming through your window. That’s Mexico and we love it.

Thank you! Yes it seems so hard to get people to recognize the reality of the situation because of the sensationalism that happens through mainstream media. I’m sure you’ll have tons of fun 🤩
And thank you again haha. We knew about the noise before coming and it honestly doesn’t bother me 😂 It’s funny to me how people could come here expecting anything less. Thanks so much for watching 😊

There's lots of amazing places in Mexico. Mnzatlan is nice, but not my favorite - there's so many fabulous locations in Mexico. I've had few issues traveling throughout Mexico. I have noticed that Mazatlan is heavy with tourists, but most of the tourists are from Mexico - it's popular for Mexican tourism.

    • @suzanneambriz5897

@@dennishassler605 yes I absolutely agree. It is definitely favorable to the mexican tourist seeing as it is less expensive than other “tourist locations” such as Cancun or Cabo. Mexico is so beautiful and there are so many hidden gems!

@@suzanneambriz5897 Nice work on the video and love your traveling as you do. There's a very nice restaurant a few blocks North on the Malecon from the McDonald's called "Juanitos" - you'll like it perhaps as a breakfast place - the owner is amazing. There's just amazing people all over Mexico and I had a marvelous discussion with a young lady at Woolworth's, too, and hope to visit with her on my next trip through that city. Usually, you can find people you meet in Mex. because they often stay in their jobs year after year - and, if not, they are often close by. I like the mixed communities where there's an expat group - they contribute a lot to their communities and offer a network that's helpful, too.

@@suzanneambriz5897 It is significantly more economical to live in Mazatlan in comparison to other popular locations. Another economical place is Oaxaca - places like Huatulco.

My dad just retired in March, my parents are now preparing there stuff to retire inn Mazatlan. There hoping move over there by October. They bought a home in el Roble Mazatlan for 20k in 2019and put in about 35k to remodel it and furnish it, they cant wait to head over there. Good video idea different prices and locations to live out there in Mazatlan.

Live out in the middle of nowhere surrounded by nature but a hour or two away from city like this, etc. Thanks for the video

Do you have income from working in Mexico or from the US. What amenities do you have at the tower. Are there gyms. So you’ll have to apply for a visa? Can you buy a property or just rent a place you could come back to every year?

You can definitely find affordable rentals in Mazatlán. Where you would want to rent would depend on your lifestyle and personal "requirements." You also have to take into account the various events that affect the cost and availability of rentals. This would depend on when you come, but there is Carnaval, Semana Santa, and Motoweek to list a few. I just recently made 2 videos about the different popular areas of Mazatlán and why they're popular. When we first arrived here I made a video about looking for rentals in our budget.
