The older I get, I am 64, the more I enjoy shorter shopping lists more often. The price of groceries also keeps me from shopping once every two weeks with a large haul. Just love your channel, you are my favorite shopper and favorite family to follow!😃❤
I love my heated blanket! I just use it to take the chill off before bed, and then again in the morning now that the weather is turning cooler out. I just put it on low for a bit and I get nice and toasty. It is also nice to wrap myself in after walking home from work on especially cold days ( even though I do dress for the weather).

well i had one from biglots it was a twin for a full size bed is what i have it was so soft but i thought it was really hot but it gets horrible cold sometimes i took lt back and then it was on sale shoudve kept it but sometime they dont work or whatever its silly what i did i have autism@@ThisAlaskaLife not really that bad just mild learning disability

Hey Lauren! Tamarind is a fruit that mostly found in Mexico. It is very tart! Actually remember that subscription box that has snacks and candy from different counties? The Mexico box had a lot of candies made with this fruit. In Mexico we make a water where we crack the shells, devein it, and boil it with some water and add a lot of sugar to it. If you go to a taco stand, you can find it and it is the brown color jug.

I never knew Alaskan hunters hunt sheep. That Lego centerpiece is on my Wish List. I’m in my 60’s and still build Lego, have a small slot car track, and Hot Wheels Sizzlers track. We really like that sandwich ham and the ham block. That was a small haul compared to past ones. I guess your own produce makes a huge difference. If you’re not up to shopping, will your Costco shop for you? Luna, your meows really echo in the house.😊
I would suggest honestly get an extra freezer an slowly make some make ahead meals to freeze and some freeze dried stuff. Since will will have twins they will come earlier and they will be 2 babies so you are already needing more calories if you will breast feed. The first months you will be swamped with so much that its better to prepare ahead. If they are the typical twins they will spend a bit of time in the Nicu so even better to have more meals. Also the freezer can hold any extra milk if you get any for babies. Making 50 or more extra family sized meals will make life easier then. Plus if they are in aluminium trays just to pop in the oven they take less space and even one of the kids can do it. Since you might get a moose this will be perfect time to make make ahead meatballs, bolognese sauce, lasagna, i would assume probably some nice snitzel slices since its lean and stews.
I was given a Costco membership by my health insurance, I am a Sam's club person but, I was so excited when you picked up the Hormel pepperoni. Sam's club has been out for months! It's just the 2 of us and we only do once a month, drive 70 miles into Kansas City and hit up 3 stores, now it will be 4 with Costco. I lay the pepperoni out on a parchment lined tray and heat up in the oven until crisp, also bloat off all the grease and eat as a snack, I also do this when I make homemade pizzas. I wish I could shop weekly, but shopping once a month is easier for us. I am so excited for the twin girls!!!

I did buy multiples of that same brand of collagen and another supplement due to the sale price right now, so those things added up. I’m not ready for Christmas retail either. I want to enjoy fall first! That said, I did admire a very nice nativity set at my local Costco.

Lauren, Check with your doctor about taking folic acid to prevent spina bifida. I worked in Birth Defects at a federal agency that did studies on using folic acid and lobbied Congress to have many foods, such as cereals, bread, etc. fortified with it. How has Luna been since you've been pregnant. When I was pregnant, my cat wanted to sit in my lap every time I sat down. I guess she knew.
You should still ask your doctor. I took prenatal and still was anemic. My doctor put me on 1000mcg of Folic Acid, in addition to my prenatals and also oral iron pills, and I was only carrying one baby. He also told me to eat lentils or lentil soup, which are high in iron, and this Korean seaweed soup is high in minerals. Less garbage processed foods with artificial flavors, dyes, chemicals, and preservatives. Uptick of childhood cancers in todays food products. Eating clean.

As for the raspberries you can make a syrup. Basically getting the juice out of them then add more or less sugar by desire. Kids always like to drink it.

Yes, the bees loved the raspberries this year. Especially since there were so few other flowers. They also did great despite the rain and cold weather, other plants didn't do so well!
I wonder what Luna will make of the babies. 😊when we had our first our cat left home for 2 weeks and then decided it wasn’t so bad after all and came home.
Awwwww my heart. Poor kitty, lm glad he or she came home. Luna's solely an indoor cat so she can't escape 😂. I'm wondering if she might hide for a bit when Mum brings home the girls. The boys will have to do extra cuddles 😊
You never know what kind of animal allergies your baby girls might have. Give them the best chance of not developing lung issues right out of the womb. In my 26 years of pediatric nursing, the amount of post birth lung and breathing issues was from a dog, cat, and bird. Do some research on toxoplasmosis for you regarding Luna.

I have never tried the hunk of ham (LOL) as I am not a huge ham fan but my daughter brought me some small Lima beans with ham she had made and it was so good. Will have to look for that ham next time I am at Costco. I think I will cube it up and freeze in meal size portions. Definitely smaller trips to Costco for you or perhaps showing your haul downstairs and then just bringing up what needs to go in your fridge And let the boys bring the rest up when they get home from school. I know it’s way early for Christmas thinking but today I went and I got both my grandsons their Christmas gifts. I then went into another store and they had all their Christmas decorations on display and I actually smiled it just made me happy. So a smile in the middle of a depressive phase can only be good isn’t it? So I got a couple ( actually 9)of new tree decs. Lol you sound very short of breath I’m this video, please don’t overdo things you have a precious load aboard and you need to rest as much as you can- but I sure you don’t need me telling you. I am so glad you were able to get some Christmas shopping done. I understand both sides, I am just not personally ready to think about Christmas. Trying to get baby things organized before I focus on the holidays. I am feeling great but the babies do make me short of breath at times. No worries, it's normal.
This video is a couple months old now but my family and I have 3 of those heated throws from Costco plus 3 larger ones for beds. 2 teen boys, my husband and myself. We started with one throw and it escalated after they all kept fighting over who got to use it 😂. We live in western Washington so it doesn't get super cold, but it's such a nice treat to turn on the blanket while I get ready for bed and then crawl into the warmth on cold winter nights! When I go to Costco and see something like that I tell myself, "Well , I can always return it". 😆 🤣

We do a lot of raspberry applesauce and then we turn a lot of it into fruit leather. We love it both ways!

I can't wait to see how your family dynamics change with the two littles on the way. The girls (must still be hard for you to believe you're going to have not one but TWO girls!) are gonong to be very spoiled with love and protection from 4 big brothers. I feel your pain with the rain. We only had 3 no rain weekends this spring and summer. As always look forward to all your videos. Yes, the bees loved the raspberries this year. Especially since there were so few other flowers. They also did great despite the rain and cold weather, other plants didn't do so well!
I wonder what Luna will make of the babies. 😊when we had our first our cat left home for 2 weeks and then decided it wasn’t so bad after all and came home.
Awwwww my heart. Poor kitty, lm glad he or she came home. Luna's solely an indoor cat so she can't escape 😂. I'm wondering if she might hide for a bit when Mum brings home the girls. The boys will have to do extra cuddles 😊

You never know what kind of animal allergies your baby girls might have. Give them the best chance of not developing lung issues right out of the womb. In my 26 years of pediatric nursing, the amount of post birth lung and breathing issues was from a dog, cat, and bird. Do some research on toxoplasmosis for you regarding Luna.

That Thanksgiving Lego set is 64.99 at my Costco in Alberta!!!
I have never tried the hunk of ham (LOL) as I am not a huge ham fan but my daughter brought me some small Lima beans with ham she had made and it was so good. Will have to look for that ham next time I am at Costco. I think I will cube it up and freeze in meal size portions. Definitely smaller trips to Costco for you or perhaps showing your haul downstairs and then just bringing up what needs to go in your fridge And let the boys bring the rest up when they get home from school. They are such good helpers. Have a great week!

I know it’s way early for Christmas thinking but today I went and I got both my grandsons their Christmas gifts. I then went into another store and they had all their Christmas decorations on display and I actually smiled it just made me happy. So a smile in the middle of a depressive phase can only be good isn’t it? So I got a couple ( actually 9)of new tree decs. Lol you sound very short of breath I’m this video, please don’t overdo things you have a precious load aboard and you need to rest as much as you can- but I sure you don’t need me telling you. I am so glad you were able to get some Christmas shopping done. I understand both sides, I am just not personally ready to think about Christmas. Trying to get baby things organized before I focus on the holidays. I am feeling great but the babies do make me short of breath at times. No worries, it's normal.

This video is a couple months old now but my family and I have 3 of those heated throws from Costco plus 3 larger ones for beds. 2 teen boys, my husband and myself. We started with one throw and it escalated after they all kept fighting over who got to use it 😂. We live in western Washington so it doesn't get super cold, but it's such a nice treat to turn on the blanket while I get ready for bed and then crawl into the warmth on cold winter nights! When I go to Costco and see something like that I tell myself, "Well , I can always return it". 😆 🤣
