The camera has no Wifi, you can use something like the camfi pro plus to add wifi send use Sigma capture pro to control the camera, it also allows for wireless 1080p liveview camera. Glad your enjoying the fp, fyi the camera in stills (14bit dng) seems to have dynamic range that used to from sony sensor body', if your shooting in high speed burst it drops to 12bit.
Where I live, the sigma fp is a lot cheaper than the sony a7iii or the panasonic S1 or the nikon z6. So should I just purchase it as my primary cinematography camera?
I don’t think so. The S1 with the coming firmware update brings it super close to the S1H. Provided it has the V-Log upgrade. Finding one used for a price very close to a new FP should be easy.
Can’t shoot 4K 12 bit at 60fps. 29.xx is tops for 4K. It’s a limitation, but not a big one. I have the camera, and you have to be nuts to not shoot at 10 or 12 bit anyway. There are enough cliche slow motion clips in the world anyway.
Almost every single shot I've seen taken with the Sigma FP has had its highlights clipping. That could not only be due to operator incompetence, could it?
Maby both. Most reviews like my self only had the camera for a short period. And sometimes slot of testing is required to get the most out of a camera. Also I think if I had done the raw conversation in after effects the high light clipping would be a little better. Now I purposely let resolve do the conversion. In my case I wanted to show the camera performance in a challenging situation and I think it did okay. I exposed for the skinstones on the boys knowing that I would blow the highlights.

Yes it could be.. ha ha :) If you know how much shadows you can recover with the 12 bit raw you would expose for the highlights
