How was Big Potatoe able to steal Mark away from Big Chickpea? Or is he on both of their payroll?
Maybe it’s Big Can
Bingo
I am such an idiot😁 I was waiting for the chickpea part🤣🤣🤣 Oh man.... I do love potatoes though... Any chance we can do this with chickpeas, though? For higher protein and my mom can't do potatoes much anymore ☹️
@@gohawks3571 Couldn't you just replace the gnocchi with chickpeas?
@@suicune2001 I suppose so. I was just expecting chickpea pasta. My mom might not be up to that as a straight substitute, but I certainly don't mind it!
I love gnocchi! I like to add tofu in to the dough for extra protein ❤
Great tip!!
A tip for making gnocchi is to actually avoid kneading the dough, and handle it minimally to avoid gluten-formation. You just bring it together, *barely* past the "shaggy dough" stage before rolling it out into sausages, and that keeps them super soft. Such a great idea to use canned potatoes; way more weeknight-friendly!
POWER STACHE IS HERE
I've finally evolved into my final form!
I love these affordable healthy foods. 😊
I love the “love you’s” at the end. So cute! Great recipe. Thanks! 😊
Very cool, I’ve never really had much use for canned potatoes, but this is really clever.
It looks delicious! Thank you for an easy hack for a thirty minute meal. 😊
So glad to finally see him make lunch for her again 🥹 and her appreciating it!! ❤️🔥😊
Great simple recipe…thanks! ❤
FYI: ALDI has super inexpensive canned potatoes.
Nice!!! I need to check out Aldi more!!
Thanks for the inspiration sauce stache, I've been eating frozen stuff for the past few days and needed to do some actual cooking for once. Felt great ❤
I like to grill gnocchi after cooking them
I always have potatoes in my pantry. I like to steam a bunch in my instant pot. I chill what I don't use for that dinner. This would be a good use for some of those. (For those who don't want to run out and get a can of potatoes, when you already have some in your pantry.) I like to cook 4-8 portion dishes. It's just me and my teen. I prep the rest for work lunches or leftovers. I have everything you have except the sage. Pretty easy to switch up the herbs to what's on hand. ☺️ I I usually have russet and sweet potatoes on hand. Sometimes red or yellow. Depends on what's on sale or available.
I've seen people use sweet potato to make a sweet or savory gnocchi dish. Haven't tried yet.
I literally make gnocchi 2x a week. It’s comforting to make and eat.
it really is!!! I dont make it enough
Oooo, I like this. I've struggled finding new, creative ways to use canned vegetables because of the texture. But this is something I will definitely try.
Yummy! I'd like to try this with sweet potatoes. 😋🍠
It's wild how well you look bro, love it. Big ups. Love the recipes more tho, you absolute wizard!
Thank you so much!!!!!
Been watching you for years. I love your new look brother... Amazing transformation.
I did a transformation too... wasn't so big to start. I'm gone raw vegan now.
Love the tache - ive developed one too.
That’s awesome! Glad you’ve found what works! and thank you!!!!
Thank you
Yo. Big fan for while now.... gotta tell ya.... SO GLAD TO SEE THE STACHE!!!! LOOKS GREAT ON YA
Good mustache genes; you look like a lean Mario!
The mustache is where I always needed to be!!
You look so fit now, what a transformation!
I am familiar with canned potatoes, but I've never purchased them, since I shy away from the consistency, saltiness and texture of most canned vegetables. I can definitely see practicality for this application though. Thanks for sharing.
I totally forgot about canned potatoes so that alone makes me super-grateful that you made this video. Thanks for all of your amazing content. *high-fives-like-whoa*
Thank you so much!!!! They are so useful to have in the pantry!!
Bro you look amazing, thank you for all the tips and tricks🥰🙏
Thank you!!!!!
Can’t wait to try this recipe! You make it look so easy, I’m tempted to try despite not being a big gnocchi fan either. Gotta say, little disappointed by the AI though. If that continues to pop up in the videos I’ll probably switch to just checking your website for new recipes instead.
Died potato flakes work extremely well.
nice!!! I need to mess with dried potatos more!!
This is great! Thanks 👍
Genius recipe for us preppers! Thanks!
The guy questioning your potato purchase😂
it was a wild conversation haha
add a can of drained white beans and a green (spinach or asparagus)!
Sprouts guy was right, just microwave a fresh potato for 5 min, squish, add flour, done
first time i see a can of potatoes, didn't know that was a thing
I had no idea how many people didnt know about canned potatoes!! they are great!
My dad used to often invite coworkers to come over our house after work for dinner. Unfortunately he always failed to give mom a heads up, so it was an ambush.
Canned potatoes was one of her secret weapons that she kept on hand so she could try to stretch a meal to feed one or two more people.
And I think that's why my siblings and I love canned potatoes -- it remind us of fun dinners with the interesting people my dad would bring home.
I was watching one of your videos from 3 years ago where you made Italian sausage from eggplant, and I wondered if the eggplant "meat" could be used in making vegan cabbage rolls?
I see you have an Adam Ragusea knife! How long have you had it and how does it hold up?
I've had it since he came out with it, not sure how long it's been, but it feels like a while. Its held up great for me.
I hand wash all my knives, and always keep them on a magnetic board.
Id say its every bit as good as my expensive wusthof
I’ve never made homemade Gnocchi.
I might make this someday
I use canned potatoes & frozen sliced carrots for Japanese curry! I have a Japanese curry on my plate in less than 10 minutes (15 if making my own cutlet..) that would not be possible with fresh potatoes for the size I like (big chunks)
nice!! i use canned potatoes to make vegan hash--glad i'm not the only one who loves them for the right applications. :)
the stache and scruff is NIIIIICE 🥴
Thank you!!! I needed a new look, its been too long
Thanks for another great idea. Could you use instant mashed potato?
Gnocchi with canned potatoes? Yessss.
This looks great!
This might actually inspire me to try making Gnocchi at home. I loved canned potatoes to make breakfast pan fried potatoes - so its' a staple in my home.
How long to boil the gnocchi ??
do you think the sauce would work well with rosemary instead of sage ?
Potadough
this is genius, can these be frozen❓
I legit thought i accidentally clicked a Julien Solomita. That stache is legit.
hahaha YES!!! Love that, thank you!!
Please post the recipe on your website. Thanks!
Damn girl the stache is awesome
I just ate canned potatoes for the first time this week!
what about chickpea gnocchi?
i have always wondered what the purpose of a can of potatoes was. this did look quick and easy
canned potatoes. I have never used them before. It’s caselot sale week at my local grocery store. So I may look and see if they are having canned potato on sale as well.
Always thought there was a fine line between dumplings and pasta. Well done!
Nice stache! That said, had felt it meant the sauce is so good people will eat fast and get some on their face like with a milk mustache…
Now I want to try making gnocchi with sweet potato and oat flour(I'm allergic to wheat)🤔
Also I'm like number 666😁
MY MAAAAN!
MY MAAAAAAAAN!!!!!!!
We actually like those canned potatoes every now and then. I simmer them with canned green beans in a cajun seasoning for a few hours and serve with cornbread. The canned potatoes hold up really well.
Just had an idea. With all this egg craze (apparently $40,000 worth of eggs were stolen...) do egg replacement recipes!
The stache looks saucey.
That looks interesting regarding the water filter. I’ve got very little in my towns well water. I’m using a zero water filter reduces the TDS to zero. I can’t find an RO that gets to that. How low does this go?
typically mine has been reading 2 TDS. The water going in has been as high 600+ coming out it's been as low as 1.
@ excellent I’ve been looking for something RO that would do that as well since in rural areas you have more of that than you do the other.
Looking this hot might impact your sleep
ahahahaha thank you!! also love your icon... thats my favorite movie of all time
@@SauceStache ...mine, too!
4:30 I've also never heard of canned potatoes. It shouldn't be surprising, but it still seems a bit strange to me.
Was that sequence generated with AI?
More Stache Sauce, than Sauce Stache.
You could have snuck chickpeas in by using chickpea flour 😂
Only now I understanding the meaning of "sauce mustache".
Walter White !
You missed out in using mushrooms
Well in Europe I am quite sure we don't have a potatoes in a can.
I think you misspelled chickpeas in your title
I just saw one of your old videos and you're totally unrecognisable..
Thanks!!I feel like a new human
Pronounced nyohcci and spelt gnocchi
Monica, Blink twice if you don't like the new mustache 😂
Finally, a usable recipe for canned
potatoes. The food bank is used to sometimes go to always gave out canned potatoes. I tried and failed to use them in a
few recipes. Because they're waterlogged,
the end results were always recipe test
fails.
Your concoction looks DEEEELISH!
Re: The water filtration system.
I live in Los Angeles proper. The taste of
the tap here water is AWFUL. Do you notice
a significant cleaner tasting water after you
use that filtration system?
My man Walter "Mark" White 💪
Canned … POTATOES?!
the AI video of the supermarket was... a choice. Not a good one though. The gnocchi looks lovely
I thought it was kinda funny
I thought it as funny haha
Nah it was funny
At least we could tell it’s AI
Doesn’t like gnocchi😂 that is sad😂
Thank you for this video bald tom selleck !
hahahah LOVE THIS
🤢🤢🤢👎
Sorry - but I liked Sauce Stache before he was spiney thin (and before he had a mustache).
And I also miss the "feel well" edgy vegan recipe.
Canned potatoes? And advertisement for a water filter which is controversial at best (we can all agree, that in most areas tab water is quite save. But there are also far less expensive options to filter your water..) - not convinced at all...
So you liked me when I was at my unhealthiest and unhappiest.
You like the recipes that I have made 100s of and honestly cant think of any new ways of doing the same thing over and over and over again.
Canned potatoes... Yep they are awesome, used em my whole life.
An ad for a water filter I love, just like all of the companies I work with. YUP.
Im not for everyone but simply complaining for the sake of it is just annoying.
Sorry the world isnt just for you
Get that AI slop off my screen. Thumbs down.
Please don't start turning your videos into AI slop please. Another good recipe though, thanks.
thanks!! I mean I used a total of 12 seconds, 3 frames, of ai artwork which I found funny.
I dont believe that turns a 10 minute video into AI slop.
I enjoy it personally.
@@SauceStache The amount of sloppy AI videos out there worries me, but I am thankful for the effort you put into your videos. I don't mean to insult you and apologies that it came off that way! Thanks again.
I also can't abide it and all my fave channels are starting to use it. It utilizes stolen images and writings, is environmentally a disaster maker, and it removes humanity from stuff, not in the way that people once argued that a camera would in comparison to paintings, because the camera is a tool. AI is not really a tool because of the stolen content for it to learn.
As a European, to me, canned potatoes are just as foreign as to the shopping clerk you met. You know, we are cultivated people, we don't buy canned potatoes, we buy ready-made gnocchi 😜
Gnnoci are not pasta 😩😩 my god
actually they are defined as pasta... sorry. not sure where you are getting this info
@SauceStache i am not sure where do you get your info. Just by simple google it says it is consider dumpling, which is also logical. Pasta is made from flour and eggs, and gnnoci are made from potatoes and little bit flour for it to bind. Not even close to being pasta. This is the first time in my life Ive heard someone is reffering to gnnoci as pasta
So much simpler just to use potato starch and water otherwise, it is the same.
That is gnochi not pasta
I started doing this several years ago, big easy fav of 🌱🫶😋
Thats awesome!!!!
