I thought the Yamaha sounds a bit fuller, not quite as bitey as the Sire. But both are nice guitars. I need to try a couple.

The Yamaha sounds fuller and bassier but also somewhat muddy. The Sire sounded brighter and more nasal. I can always roll off high frequencies - unless they’re not there in the first place. I bought the Sire.
Yamaha vs Sire:- bridge - 0:07 vs 0:21- middle - 0:40 vs 1:05- neck - 1:29 vs 1:52
BOTH sound good, but the Sire was tinnier than the Yammy!
Yes indeed! both sounded like a bass when i was recording it. I need to learn how to monitor properly.

I just watched another vid that said the Sire p90's were glassy. They sure are. Too thin for my liking.
