@@jblazerndrowzy I meant for the zombies, but their’s a trick for plants. first you stop shooting and back away and allow the chopper to get killed
Chomper has been the main reason why I got into the PvZ franchise and the Garden Warfare games because of it's amazing design. I still love the character and it has a special place in my heart.

I can see that
I feel like chomper would benifit with a frenzy mode, not just limited to hotrod. My main issues with chomper in the shooter games was he was like a mix between spy and demoknight from tf2 gameplay wise, but a frenzy mode could help him do both, outside of frenzy mode chomper should feel like a stealth class, just scraping by with there teeth to eat any zombie who got to far from a group, and once frenzy mode activates, they become a whole different beast, going on rampages exactly like superbrainz
Or give Hyper to Chomper as a replace for goop so Super Pea Jump won’t be outclassed
That could be great tbh, I could definitely see it becoming more ravenous looking as well. Its jaw hanging open and gaining a speed boost as it runs towards zombies could be cool asf
@@arsontheaverage8821 or you could give hyper to Chomper instead of Peashooter since it would allow him reach higher areas and allow him to get close to his enemies, things to enhance the melee focus combat.
@@nickytembo4112 it sounds fitting for what I have in mind for the frenzy mode, although I am also of the opinion peashooters hyper mode shouldn't even allow him to jump that high sense it makes its alternate ability useless while making people who main peashooter use the pogo pea tactic
@@nickytembo4112 i was thinking of maybe giving him the ability to climb and jump off walls to help him reach higher up targets, perhaps as its own alt ability for tangle weed were chomper uses their tongue like a grapple hook to reach further up areas or to l4d smoker style catch zombies
Excited for the entire series! For the next episode I’m assuming it’ll probably be the all-star! Then again, you never know.

Chomper was always my favorite character in pvz gw, he's just so cool and i love him
Hot take, but I think the PvZ 3 version of chomper is on par with PvZ 1, while PvZ 2 made only smaller changes and etc on his design. PvZ 3 gave him a more stylish look (bigger spikes, larger teeth, tongue). He completely stands out compared to his other designs in the mobile games. He’s probably one of the only plants in the original PvZ 3 release that benefited from the style change

Chomper in BFN should had been a debuff like class, if they really wanted to change him. Powerful bite which heals you a little after eatting someone from behind, the goop shot should had been like a charge and can slow down zombies when fully charged but at the risk of damage or range. Yes Popcap stinky poo pooed it up.

Chomper in GW would be so sick if it took a page from the Hunter from L4D, a leap pounce attack that could be used for attacking and ambushing enemies at higher elevated spots or escaping.
But here are some general suggestions that could really help Chomper out in GW while still keeping it's identity.
-Remove the spotting icon for it, allows more stealth strats
-Have it be the only class that cannot be crit, so it can tank better
-Give it a signature sprinting mechanic
-Make Devour and Biting/Breath attack set to different buttons
-Speed up the devouring process, from the initial attack animation to the swallow, just please...
The amount of times recently I have been in the same game as you in GW2 is crazy.

Chomper seems to always get the short end of the stick, I mean,
-He sucks in PVZ 1
-You have to buy him in PVZ 2 (although he is much better than he was in PVZ 1)
-And in GW/GW2/BFN he and his variants are honestly the worst group of plant in those games.
At least he has a sick design

I feel bad for how they did chomper, imagine in a perfect world where chomper was this high-risk high-reward class where the point of him was to drive a wedge in enemy territory, do big damage, and swallow key players, while the rest of his team came in for backup. chomper would be overpowered but instead we get massive L's like the yeti chomper and chomp thing.

I think chompers should only eat zombies when you zoom because zooming doesn’t do anything for you.also I think chompers should also get a speed buff and a 15-25 health buff because his critical hitbox is to big and he should get 20-35% speed increase because they haven‘t a heoric kick or something like that

I like the chomper,but i need to admit is a pretty useless plant in the main series,its cooldown is too big wich makes it vulnerable and useless,it is also too expensive,it only advantage is insta kill but squash also as this vantage

Fantastic plant, I say. A fast instant kill plant will always be good my book. Too bad it got the sort end of the stick in the shooter games. Spy but with a bigger head hitbox, no range besides goop, delay for backstabs, and can't even turn invisible on top of that.

I feel that they should’ve gave Hyper to Chomper instead so not only that Super Pea Jump wouldn’t be outclassed but it also boosts Chomper’s Melee combat as it gives him speed boost and allows him to high jump to areas he couldn’t before.

@@caper3987 Well, I was suggesting Hyper to replace goop so it gives an enemy a chance to to fight without giving Chomper a useless ability.

@@caper3987 Not really, at least Spikeweed takes some skill, while goop is just cheap and easy, I just think spikeweed just needs an arming delay so you can’t just place on top of an enemy to eat him instantly.

How do i play pvz:gw?
Went from usless in the first game to even more usless in the second game in second ( due to Toadstools existence ), then a rubbish class in GW1 and about the same in the sequel. And then mediocre at best in BFN

Completely baffled by anyone saying BfN Chomper is messy. Slobber Shot is bad on purpose, and the change from a dubious "pick" class to a melee centered brawler that doesn't lose to zombies in groups larger than one is a very valid direction to take him.
