You cant take it with you - Moving to Bali

  • How much would you sacrifice to live in paradise?
    Import Duties and shipping costs almost make it impossible to take your personal possessions with you if you want to move to a tropical paradise.
    Follow me (Muzza) as I realise what I have to sell or give away just to have a new life in Bali.

    Good on you, Muzza! I’m so happy for you. For all you do to help people, you deserve it! It’s true, what goes around comes around! 😊

    I started following you and didn't realize that you too have a Harley. Like you, I considered shipping my Harley Ultra Classic to Indonesia (I plan on retiring in Indonesia), until I found out that the shipping cost was outrageous. Your 'new ' Road King' is beautiful by to way. Keep up the good work on the video's, they are so helpful.

    Muzza just an idea why don’t you ask whanau, friends and followers from NZ, when they come to Bali to even bring 2 things in their luggage for you. You could have someone in Auckland hold on to the stuff you want for Bali and slowly but surely it would make it to you. People don’t go with full suitcases to Bali they may come home with a full one. Just a thought

    Sweet bike… we are heading to Bali on the 5th Nov from NZ… happy to carry some batteries for you

  • @petalson
    @petalson ปีที่แล้ว +1

    You can get adapters to convert cheap brand batteries to AEG tools, which may make it easier to use local batteries.

    Well, if someday I decide to move, I sell all my belongings and just go there with a carry on....
    After that all I need is just the basics as that gonna be the last chapter of life....
    When we were young we had them all...Harley, trucks, cars, this that etc etc...
    now its time just to downsize to a studio...This is how life is ...enjoy the moment..
    everyday is blessing.
    cheers.

    Surely there would be a government agency or avenue that could help with the cost when you can show it's being used to help Indonesians. Sharing space on containers should be cheap if you know someone on the inside that appreciates what you are trying to do. Just the stroke of a pen!! I think the Indonesian authorities are quite familiar with accepting Humanitarian aid from other countries.
