Muzza , I swore I would never set foot in Bali , after the bombings , but my son recently visited , met you , and gave Bali a big wrap , So on 10 January I’ll be there for a week , Peter ,
Hey bro, great information for your vloggers, glad Vie and yourself had a wonderful time with your family and to celebrate Damos life with his family, good on you mate, and yes that is correct about building on your land, excavate it and let it settle for at least 12 months, you know me as a builder, anyway great vlog and information about visa's and so forth also, love you guys, stay safe, and travel well my bro.❤
My trip to Bali a week ago I did the Health Declaration however no one even checked that.. Thailand will build the tax into the flight charge. In China we have Taobao I can buy more things from there online than any shop in Australia..
We did ours online. We also had a porter at the airport, who took us right from collecting our bags, going through immigration (in which he just waved our stuff under the officials noses)and it took 2 minutes and we were off. We had a vehicle and driver coming to pick us up, so he found them in the throng of drivers and took us to the car and loaded our luggage. We paid him 10,000 IRD ($10 AUD) It was worth every cent
Muzza love the videos been watching for a while now. I'm aus with indo missus and keen on a move over there. You have been very informative and have added a little clarity on how I might transition to living in Bali. I'm in Bali through Dec and January. Any chance of a quick meet and greet
A GREAT IDEA ABOUT SHOWING US ALL THE DIFFERENT AREAS, IT WILL BE HELPFUL FOR WHAT SUITS YOUR VIEWERS. YOU REALLY HAVE PLANNED ALOT AHEAD OF YOU, KEEP UP YOUR GREAT WORK.
Ku berani. Building. Semoga success .. what U give out. U get back in life. All the new house building. Process will. Be. Good .. U lucky. Woof woof. 😊
G'day Muzza, was put onto you by an expat we came across while just over there. Mate I was last there 35 years ago...I shouldn't have revisited. Yes things have to change but bugger me, it's an inch away from imploding with the load on infrastructure and general over tourism both frightening and growing. Can't help but feel the locals are visitors in their own country. You are obviously settled and are savvy to the workings but I couldn't imagine anywhere worse to live permanently. Thanks for your "fairdinkumness."
Just having a week here in Seminyak- last here 20 yrs ago, but I agree this place is not somewhere where I will ever return - it’s just a place reliant on tourist dollars - for me it’s feral, unpleasant
I just got back on Wednesday. I had to show the qr code for (old paper) declaration. There was signs for the health Dec (monkey pox) but honestly don't remember them looking at that qr code. Heaps of egates for evisa holders. I do believe kitas holders can use the egates but I didn't use as I come through in a wheelchair and go to different counters. Watch the board at the luggage collection.. as always, first, it will say pick up 6, then it will change to 4 or 1😅
Hi Muzza, you will love Lombok! Is you spend the night in Senggigi try ‘Happy cafe’ for night time music and the hidden gem ‘Temptations’ for breakfast or lunch or beers and rugby/football upstairs. And beers on the beach, I’d head to the ‘Office’ it has a pool table. Beer on tap head to Willies bar, good food too.
Went thru Tuesday night… 5secs via gate, no lines, waited for bags, had customs Dec via QR code, had that scanned, didn’t interact with anyone. Ignored that other booth on the way out. But as for this area - Jl Petitenget Seminyak - it’s one of the worst places I’ve ever been and can’t wait to leave …. These tourist areas (not that I chose this place) are wretched
You might be in for a bit of culture shock in Lombok - very Muslim, so very different from Hindu Bali. I've only seen tiny bits, but it is beautiful. You may have to plan your beer stops!
I worry about you mate, but if u want to look like Damo, thats cool but u got look after your self exercise gym swimming, I drink heaps but my blood pressure good im67 but healthy bro .love u and wife but a blood pressure tester, is cheap and$$$ we 5:38
When you go back to indo this is just a thought instead of just doing bali vlogs you should go to mt Bromo in java and lake Toba in samatra you will be plesently surprised they are hidden gems of Indonesia
Looking foward to following your house build itll be great

A video of the current steps to get into Bali would be excellent, I wouldn’t even know about the tourist levy if it wasn’t for Facebook groups
Roads on Lombok are excellent and you can fly to/from Lombok/Denpasar

It's definitely a challenge living here, that's for sure.

Safe Travels.
Pretty sure you have to the health declaration still and have the QR code ready or you will get stuck doing it. They ask for this first off.
