Here is a translation of the Yiddish lyrics :
A cantor came to a small town
    To pray on the Sabbath.
Three Men came to the people of the town
One man was a tailor, the second man
    Was a shoemaker.
And the third was a laborer.
The tailor sang: oho, baba ho (chanting)
    The shoemaker sang: (chanting)
This is how we pray. (chanting)
This is how we pray (chanting)
    And the townspeople prayed (chanting)

@@MarcLeaveyI have a friend who belongs. He's not been in touch for years now. His name is Nigel Lowe of Willenhall (near Wolverhampton),England. He's a good impersonator. He taught me about Jolson. I've been a musician my whole life and grew up in a Jewish neighbourhood, and it took an gentile English man to teach me about Jolson! 😂❤❤❤
