    Thank you so much for this video, I can't believe it exists for a 2001 video game, but this is exactly what I needed. Very well done, and informative.

    This is a pretty good comprehensive tuning guide, especially for someone like me who really has no idea about actual cars and what things effect what on a car lol thanks.
    Also only just now playing this on a friends ps2 lol I had GT 1 & 2 on my ps1 growing up, never knew how to play it fully though being so young

    Cool video. A helpful tip is whenever u either buy the audi tt, make sure u buy the 4wd variable control thing because of the car being front wheel drive whenever u go to drive it, and after u buy it, it will drive like the way a 4wd vehicle handles, hope this also helps, and whenever u get in a new car, or after u buy a new car, do an oil change first for 250 credits because that will give the car more horsepower as well

    Its incredible that the ps2 cpu is able to calculate all this parameters for 6 cars at the same time 60 times a second while drawing shadows, reflections and textures of the cars and environment

    This is game is so much fun, love firing up the ps2 for some gt3. it gets really challenging! Some how I find it more fun than newer racing games. maybe its just the nostalgia.

    Clovis I specifically need advice on tuning.. I mean in detail. Every aspect. I’m trying to get every car I own with the red ring around the speed symbol. Help would be greatly appreciated. 🙏🏽

    What I do I try not to mod the turbos in race cars unless it's a track like test course or super speedway otherwise the tires will senselessly wear out/oversteer like crazy, and trying to make the car tighter in mr or rr cars while fr,awd, or ff cars, races like 2 hour endurance races, the mx5 40 lap race, or the Polyphony Digital Challenge, I try to use the slickest tire compound tire possible so I can win via race strategy, but sometimes you do have to use the traction control to limit tire wear. Never use stability control you'll understeer like crazy especially in ff or awd cars, but to adjust the speed of your cars I use test course to adjust for tracks like Monaco or laguna seca, for slower f1 cars like the f090/s use lower top speeds to adjust for acceleration

      @jurekgadzinowski2895 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Not entirely true, stability control is good in 4wd cars especially GTRs, because they tend to oversteer.

    To
    play well on the circuit
    Apricol Hill with
    15 turns
    from USA
    in the title Gran
    Tourism 3 Aspect is necessary
    Build a Car
    with Medium Soft tires
    Now that they have
    more stability
    that the
    Super Slick, the
    Super Slick is
    for circuits
    Street.
    Then enter
    the pits in the lap
    number 8 and change
    again for the
    Medium Soft.
    It seems that no
    you have the option
    = No Demage Tires =
    if there is a
    Gameshark code
    that enables such
    Option.

      Bruh you cannot change tires to diffrent compound while racing

    Why do so many people drive from third person view?? It's so sloppy.
    Good advice overall. Good video.

      To show the car or because it is easier to see if there is someone close to your side. I personally drive somtimes from 3rd person cam, and sometimes from the bumper cam.

    Can someone tell me what car parts I need to buy or/and what adjustments I need to do to basically avoid the top speed of the car to constantly drop and recover and instead just maintain the top speed? Example: on the test course if you reach the top speed irl drop and recover over and over again but this can make you lose the race…I forgot what I need to do or buy to avoid this…can someone plz help? Thanks in advance

      @@cue9212 I eventually remembered from my childhood what to do but like Lawrence said…buy the fully customizable transmission..and before a race go to options/settings and in the final gear ration (the biggest on the bottom) put it all the way to the right..but remember where it originally was in case you need to put it back

      @@deeznutzboii Not all the way, it is better to accelerate quicker and have top speed that you will hit at the end of the straight. In my R33 I run on 2.8 final drive on test course because on 2.5 it would have top speed of around 410 kmh which are impossible to hit in this car, I have it maxed out when it comes to engine and turbo.

    Super Soft Tires are very stable, but wear FROM LAP NUMBER 4 onwards
    One can go in the First Position but then when it goes from Yellow to Red the
    Cars lose stability and one can stay
    of the number one position in the fifth or sixth position, this is due to the friction of
    Super Soft Tires, very fast your
    wear, because the Option "No
    Demage Tires but Vs the Cpu
    Such a cheat does exist but in Gran Turismo 1 and
    the Gt2 on Ps1.

    • @jurekgadzinowski2895
      @jurekgadzinowski2895 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Depends on a car, 600+ hp R33 with soft tires turns the front ones red in less than 3 complete laps on the grand valley.

    • @jurekgadzinowski2895
      @jurekgadzinowski2895 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Use 1 or 2 compounds harder ones on the front, because usually they wear out faster.
