Man, I was strugling in pvp as a non skilled player till I start usying SNS Spear in Heavy. So good to actually do damage with the spear and dont dye too quickly. Thx so much and keep the great work!

I actually made a short once of you kicking my butt in an influence race lol. I think it is time for me to up my PvP game. 7:28 it wasn't, freedom doesn't affect stagger or knockdown. If you get staggered or knocked down twice in a short time you get a free getup. Blocking works but you can also do a light dodge roll for no stamina even in heavy in that situation.

Im still a huge believe in heavy over medium this season even if you arent using sns. In wars as a bruiser the heavy feels really nice wifh the shirking fort and freedom benefits you get when you run heavy!
Totally get that! It’s still good and defenitely viable with sword/flail for sure. I think I’d just rather do a void dark plate or feather weight spec maybe. I got some buddies that are shieldless n heavy and do great. Shirking fort and shirking heals in heavy = 🔥
I used to always run Leadership but switched to Defensive Formation based on your recommendation and I like it a lot. I just switched Shield Rush for Defenders Resolve though, so still getting used to it. I see that you like to fully upgrade Shield Bash. I'm not sure the extra 25% dmg & 1sec stun is worth it to me though, considering the ability doesn't do much dmg anyway and they usually get knocked right out of the stun. Have you considered using the extra 2pts in Elemental Resistance & Counter Attack? I like those better personally.
Yea I’ve just found my spec works best and most my damage not on the sns bar so don’t prefer counter attack. That extra second is huuuuuge on shield bash. I should always be flanking to crit and it’s the longest stun in the game

So I used to use ankh like in my videos from this season, but have decided to stop using it since it’s upcoming nerf next patch. And actually since then I’ve preferred it with the bigger potion heal and especially with potion heals increasing next patch. Ankh will no longer work with lifesteal next patch
Of course. Hammer - hatred , sundering clear out. Last can be trenchant rend or refreshing move. Taunt gem of course. Sword and shield refreshing move hated as well. 3rd perk can be whatever. Body pretty much the same. Void dark plate or the wall is best artifacts by far. Then of course health and aversions are best and grit ward. Conditions and. Enchanted too. Gems depending on the dungeon. 200 strength rest in con. Flail I rarely use as much but same principals. Also for sword find space for fortifying shield rush
Can you please explain why Elem. Aversion and not enchanted ward? Why would one want be protected only from ranged attacks and not from melee ones as well even in heavy. It just doesn't feel right.
Ranged damage is much more than light attacks/autos. So is elemental aversion. Enchanted ward is great too but not helping against the abilities from the lightning bow, flamethrower, fire ball, abilities, etc. melee users aren’t much a concern to me and are mitigated by other means. I build to try to control what I can’t in a fight and that’s the guys a mile away lol

I was thinking of doing health/shirking fort/freedom on my non artifact pieces. Will be awhile to get pieces like that to test since I'm perpetually broke 😅
Shirking fort and shirking heals are both really good. I just rarely prioritize them. In my spear build I dodge a lot more and would definitely consider shirking fort

I can understand putting 100 points into dex for gs build for the 5% damage crit chance and base damage buff, but the follow up nodes seem pointless your extra 100 points in strength would get you 33% stam regen and 7% extra damage while under 90% health so surely you'd benefit more from 300 strength 100 dex
@@justdroppingby7383 not correct. None of those nodes are more beneficial than the raw base damage added via split stats on gs. It’s a unique weapon in that it essentially has a practical 50-50 attribute roi up to these break points of diminishing returns. Hope this makes sense. At the point of this video at least. Its odd because i see no change in stats if i do 100% str to 50/50 str/dex in base damage for my GS, i only see sns dps fall off with str/dex build as it 90/65 scaling. Ill have to wait then test it on a dummy as you say. There isn't softcap scaling in this game is there? If there is it'll explain alot.

With a heavy build you need to survive as long as possible. I don’t think that with your build that will be possible. To many focus on movement speed and no focus on absorption. My heavy build have 3600 psychical and 3100 elemental absorption. With 55 % slash absorption. 40 % thrust absorption and indeed a lot of fortify perks. Also 24 % enhanced ward. I got bloodrinker to, and use the axe for mobility. You are a pve player?

@ hey did you ever check how old this video was before commenting? Everyone knows that’s the go to heavy set, but that wasn’t even released at the time of this video. Either way there are alternatives to gear if you can’t get that expedition done and alternative playstyles. Hope this helps
I'm thinking about using the fridgid dawn set together with some conditioning perks. Then shield with resolve, sturdy fort and slash ward. Hope it's gonna be as tanky as I hope it will be. Not sure if I go for voidplate or freedom pants tho. Defenitly going for blooddrinker + Serenity tho

Magnetic gauntlets is only good on ig vg builds. Void dark plate for heavy bruisers. Heavy armor has no place in 3v3 arena unless youre only fighting light players. I can chill as a healer when heavies attack me bc they are the least impactful. Everybody ignores them until last
yer on the normal arena but heavy on the platform and hammer clear is good if people whant to ignore their let them i bet milj don´t have chans to to get 3 heavy with hammer controlling the top to end
Idk. I tend to have a fair amount of success in arenas and heavy all I really play. Healers are strong no matter who attacks them . As far as magnetic gauntlets, they are great for vg and great axe imo. Void dark plate is indeed great 👍
I have slowed down to 0 when it comes to builds to much is shanging in the game atm and to much is comming for s4 i whant some stabilty witch we don´t have atm nothing worse then aim for somting that gets nerfed to oblivion few weeks later.
Yea it can be very disappointing and discouraging. Plus crafting ain’t cheap! It’s why I never did shirking heals all patch . I knew it was so strong that it’d constantly be changed or nerfed. Turns out I was right lol

Heavy playas r so creaming rite now.. heavy has never been this strong. except maybe partialy on launch(voidbent etc) im a lite melee assasin, for years now, but even dex/flex are starting to go heavy now. Due to many changes as well as having more attribute points, u can do almost as much damage as a light playa, but have like 3x the defence/tankyness. for the longest time i have stuck to light melee, cuz im a masochist. but i needed to do arenas with serentiy, to unlock the quests etc.. had just been tanking in expedition, so went in arena heavy, and was blown away how it was.. was like i changed the difficulty by multiple lvs. for a whole variety of reasons. its kinda hard to ignore the heavy meta now. even like my fav lie melee streamers(whelps) r going heavy in their dex/flex/assasin roles.. crazy. Im not hating tho.. and we have had way worse and more unbalanced states in pvp. im really curious how this will develop, and where the meta will go. S4 changed so much, and then all the changes since, ..and since in NW u actually have to test every thing out urself, to see if and how it works.. the meta is still being discovered, and the changes came faster then we the community could develop. i wonder where ags will go next with "balance". i wish there was sumone up top who had a complete vision, of how the game shud be.. atm they seem to just jump around to try n please whoever is screaming/crying the loudest
Yea I’ve been heavy since day one and seeing more ppl go heavy especially those who use to laugh at me and call me a tank even with 200 con is hilarious. I think you’re right. The extra 100 attributes opened up so much. Like being able to go 300 con but still have 300 strength is crazy. I think getting damage in heavy is now easier. Yes light and medium still have more damage BUT heavy no longer sacrifices as much for damage while staying tanky. I feel medium needs its reduced dodge cost back. That’s a good start

The heal was from accelerated resolve/ defenders resolve 😀. U always enter or refresh a stance after an ability. Have a time stamp?

In serenity build some big changes in stats. - dex + str . Earlier u said u aim 200 200 now we see 270 140... Can u explain?
No food buff. All stats are in the description. Would never run those stats 😂 plus I was swapping through multiple builds

I haven’t used / tested kite shield in a while. As I mentioned in the video, I used it for just a day or two but prefer tower shield

I'm thinking about using the fridgid dawn set together with some conditioning perks. Then shield with resolve, sturdy fort and slash ward. Hope it's gonna be as tanky as I hope it will be. Not sure if I go for voidplate or freedom pants tho. Defenitly going for blooddrinker + Serenity tho

Magnetic gauntlets is only good on ig vg builds. Void dark plate for heavy bruisers. Heavy armor has no place in 3v3 arena unless youre only fighting light players. I can chill as a healer when heavies attack me bc they are the least impactful. Everybody ignores them until last
yer on the normal arena but heavy on the platform and hammer clear is good if people whant to ignore their let them i bet milj don´t have chans to to get 3 heavy with hammer controlling the top to end
Idk. I tend to have a fair amount of success in arenas and heavy all I really play. Healers are strong no matter who attacks them . As far as magnetic gauntlets, they are great for vg and great axe imo. Void dark plate is indeed great 👍

I have slowed down to 0 when it comes to builds to much is shanging in the game atm and to much is comming for s4 i whant some stabilty witch we don´t have atm nothing worse then aim for somting that gets nerfed to oblivion few weeks later.
Yea it can be very disappointing and discouraging. Plus crafting ain’t cheap! It’s why I never did shirking heals all patch . I knew it was so strong that it’d constantly be changed or nerfed. Turns out I was right lol

@@RobinUnknwn yea grit ward helps. I tried medium 2 weeks ago for 2 days and felt good with unugraded gauntlets. The hop felt good. Think I’ll try kite shield next but round shield felt fine
Heavy playas r so creaming rite now.. heavy has never been this strong. except maybe partialy on launch(voidbent etc) im a lite melee assasin, for years now, but even dex/flex are starting to go heavy now. Due to many changes as well as having more attribute points, u can do almost as much damage as a light playa, but have like 3x the defence/tankyness. for the longest time i have stuck to light melee, cuz im a masochist. but i needed to do arenas with serentiy, to unlock the quests etc.. had just been tanking in expedition, so went in arena heavy, and was blown away how it was.. was like i changed the difficulty by multiple lvs. for a whole variety of reasons. its kinda hard to ignore the heavy meta now. even like my fav lie melee streamers(whelps) r going heavy in their dex/flex/assasin roles.. crazy. Im not hating tho.. and we have had way worse and more unbalanced states in pvp. im really curious how this will develop, and where the meta will go. S4 changed so much, and then all the changes since, ..and since in NW u actually have to test every thing out urself, to see if and how it works.. the meta is still being discovered, and the changes came faster then we the community could develop. i wonder where ags will go next with "balance". i wish there was sumone up top who had a complete vision, of how the game shud be.. atm they seem to just jump around to try n please whoever is screaming/crying the loudest
Yea I’ve been heavy since day one and seeing more ppl go heavy especially those who use to laugh at me and call me a tank even with 200 con is hilarious. I think you’re right. The extra 100 attributes opened up so much. Like being able to go 300 con but still have 300 strength is crazy. I think getting damage in heavy is now easier. Yes light and medium still have more damage BUT heavy no longer sacrifices as much for damage while staying tanky. I feel medium needs its reduced dodge cost back. That’s a good start
