- After watching the whole show of semi final 1 and seeing the performances fully those are my thoughts and first impressions. DO NOT MISS THE SHOW TOMORROW it's gonna be an amazing semi final.

Yesss the live show starts in a 2 hours and I can’t wait. I hope I am wrong for some of the reviews I did yesterday. Because at the preview show many sounded so much better at 9pm show. So I really don’t know what’s gonna happen tonight hah

Camera work for Serbia is supposed to be the same as on NF, which was excellent. That is what was decided. but for some reason, organizers are unable to do it. It is a simple thing so my only conclusion is that they decide not to cooperate. Teya complained about this after the first rehearsal and they said they would change camera cuts to her preference for the dress rehearsal, but it seems they haven't changed anything. If the performance looks bad, it is the organizer's fault
So sorry about that mas still I'm confident She Will qualify. The song is so beautiful and her presence on stage is captivating. Good Luck from Portugal ❤❤
It is strange, Swedish producers were marketing the whole thing as amazing technical wizardry but they are not able to do a simple thing such as close camera angles. Shameful. Really feel sorry for Teya.
@@paulapereirinho2070 Thanx, but it is going to be very hard for Teya to be captivating if no one can see her because she is all the way zoomed out in most of the cuts. Good luck to Portugal as well, though I think you are safe from what I saw of the rehearsals

😮 I didn’t know that Eleni and Chanel were playing ! My two favs! (I know it probably was well known to everyone and I seem to be living in a different planet 🙈😂). OMG you made my dayyy!! I’m really proud of my Iolanda and I hope she will do well🇵🇹❤ but Bambie Thug is my winner for this semifinal - I love all about them 🇮🇪 also Serbia and Slovenia - raiven has a special place in my heart 🫶🫶🫶 I will vote for them all from the UK!🇬🇧
Yesss let’s see what happens today. I think it’s gonna be a GREAT semi final. Probably some disappointments will be there as well … but important is that it’s gonna be a great show. 🇮🇪 is gonna be bombastic !! Bambie is sooo amazing. Probably my most fave performance because of the camera cuts and the effects. Iolanda 🇵🇹 is also one of the best stagings. So there’s a lot of good stuff happening tonight :) legs have a great show 🥳♥️ enjoy it fully :)

Nooo don’t , at the press when I saw his performance it was ok but vocally not. Yesterday thought at the preview show at 9pm he sounded so so much better cause they changed the bridge part and it sounded by faaaar better. So tonight if it’s like last night it will be a good one I promise

Let’s see what will happen in semi final one and I’m sure we’ll discuss it. Not sure about our UK entry, as he receives mixed reactions regarding his vocals.
@@SeanAHarding in the rehearsals yesterday from press center I wasn’t fan of his vocals. BUT!! In the evening show live , he was actually good , the bridge and every single part was super good sang !!!

Hmm what is cruel to the artists is that they rehears ALL DAY and then shows and and. I would be so done haha. But they signed for it.

It’s gonna be suuuuch a good semi. Btw now I watched the preview show and they fixed lots of stuff. Like for example Ukraine’s shaky cam. Is gone, now it looks way better

Serbia was very pushy to change camera angles to show more closer angles and emotions, fast dynamic camera changes... to be similar to Serbia's performance on PZE. For some reason, organizers didn't wanna do it after many tries to change that. This is really disappointing and dissandvantage for Serbia. Giving Serbia dead spot, 2nd place, plus not being cooperative to make their performance look good - it only tells you one thing - you guess what... Serbia has the right to be upset. I can imagine how Teya feels on the stage when she knows it's not everything as she wanted. Ireland and some countries gets everything right as they wanted but they are simply sabotaging Serbia. I am just worried, Serbia decide to not be part of Eurovision any more after this.
Yes of course ! If teya wants to have it differently and they don’t do it. Then I can definitely understand why teya and her team are pissed …
On the turqouise carpet I saw her interview with Wiwi and she clearly said that she wasn't happy with the camara-work and wanted more close ups, so the emotion would be transmitted better to the viewer at home. Are you telling me she has not got that from her producers? That really makes me sad 😪. I sometimes really feel that some delegations form some countries don't want to win. Maybe because they don't see themselves able to host or because they think it's a waste of time and money? Could this be the case with Serbia?

I agree with almost all your qualifiers and non qualifiers, except that I would change Poland for Azerbaijan. And yes, it breaks my heart but Slovenia is not going through this way. For me, the magic has disappeared in this performance, the ambience is way too light and the outfit looks weird with this lighting and LED background. The camara angles aren't good either, the entire performance has lost the creepy, amazing aspect and I'm dying because of it 😭😭😭.
I am also sad because of Cyprus, feel so sorry about Cyprus coming after Chanel en Foreira. They killed her with that because even giving it a 100% she will not look as good as she is after that opening.
Portugal is THE dark horse of this semi, I've said that sooo many times, and I have no doubt about her doing waaaay better than everyone thought.

Ah and then Olly... Look, you know I'm not homophobic AT ALL, but I think he missed a chance to make a difference and an oportunity for more acceptance here. Without a doubt I am all in for an all inclusive eurovision, I am here for breaking boundries and in that context I loved Olly's start of the performance. I love that the performance normalizes love and lust between men, I don't mind it to be naughty even, because if this same performance would be a man with 4 women, or a woman with 4 men, nobody would be shocked, right? So I love that.
But, that said, the soft-porn part for me is a misser, they lost me there and I think they passed a line for more conservative people there too. Personally I think it's unnecesary and inappriopiate for a familyshow to be honest. And let me be clear, I woudn't like it if they were men and women either. But, I know this is probably a contraversial opinion and I know I am on the conservative side of the LGBTQ+ comunity, I know that, so we will see what happens.

Yes ah about Slovenia it doesn’t look soooo bad but it’s just not fully there. Inside the arena the backdrop is amazing but when I saw what is shown on tv , 5% only from the backdrop is shown .. and that’s so sad .. because it’s truly a very well done backdrop. And yeah … we will see but get ready for disappointments

Bambie's vocals need to be better during the jazz part. I know they're doing a lot on stage but the vocals aren't as good as the pre-parties.
Ya gonna be fine, really , with such a good staging and performance and camera , those very little vocal parts are forgiven. Because Bambie is doing so much on stage !

@@tonyttt31 well from watching Eurovision so many years I can say that the jury is just voting for their faves. They don’t go always according to vocals. They don’t include always staging etc in the count … which I don’t like … that’s why for me it should be 75% Tele and 25% jury
@@georgikanevESC I would not change the split from 50/50. What I would do is diversify the make up of the jury and also change their marking guidelines.
