I just don't believe her test about him having some psychological break it sounds to contrived.... her story changes far too much.
And I think if Matthew had psyche issues others would have mentioned it.
Apparently no one observed that but her.... hmmm that's telling.

It's like it's halloween 🎃
her making herself cry is RIDICULOUS
Agreed! 😫
Well. I'll give her an honorable mention for being able to _force_ tears, but the rest of her act is just terrible. It's not credible at all. If she had said there was an intruder, that would at least have a modicum of credibility. He was outside after all.
yeah she is a terrible actress
No doubt her lawyer told her to squeeze out some tears.
Yeah, it seems as if she is on the verge of bursting into laughter, but she tries to save it with a crying act. Embarrassing.
When she said, I am crying because my life is on the line, what about Matthew's life and how he will forever be 25 yrs old. All her outfits she wore. Hope she likes her orange suit. It's an outfit she will be wearing a very, very long time. She is evil!
Exactly!
she's an absolute mess....how anyone could believe any of her act if insane
I knew this girl for her entire childhood. I babysat her from kindergarten to her middle school years and lost touch after I moved out of state for work. I JUST found out about all of this about an hour ago. I would have NEVER, in a literal million years, imagined that this would have been the direction that her adult life would have taken her. She was literally the best kid. She was not strange or violent or had behavioral issues or anything-she was exactly the opposite as a child. I’m just in SO much shock right now.
I'm sorry. It's must be a shock. I think she had really big problems with addiction and possibly other things too. You cant always tell which child will end up there. ❤
Addiction
Often, with personality disorders, people can look pretty “ok” early on. It develops over time, and with hormonal changes and more, influencing, coming all together.
Sometimes, it can be very apparent looking back..and sometimes very little, or not at all.
Most humans want things to be obvious, cut/dry, either/or, and mental health just isn’t that clear some of the time.
Personality disorders manifest over time, and really start revealing more in late teens early 20’s.
Some with borderline, can come across so sweet, funny, charismatic, creative…and then, wow!
Mental illness doesn’t come with a neon flag and a full description…it comes as a complex equation, specific to that person, their biology, their experiences, and more. We try to make sense of it with a very limited understanding of the neuroscience, and with the desire to not be blindsided by others…life isn’t that simple
She deserved a longer sentence, she’s a narcissistic person and knew her prey wouldn’t fight back. He’s a victim of falling for the wrong woman and paid for it with his life.

She probably a foot or hand model 😮
What I found most telling, and most interesting, was her physical changes. Her lightened hair, minimal makeup and soft clothing colors. Trying to make her demure and sweet.
Clearly an attempt at manipulation
But her body language and eyes are cold and hard as stone.
She is 100% off-putting…
The Jodi Arias/Ezra McCandless makeover
What I found most telling was the huge slice cut across the palm of her hand
I believe she kept the gloves on for two reasons. 1. To look like she loved him and ‘attempted’ CPR. 2. To cover up her OWN cut so it wouldn’t be so noticeable and they wouldn’t see she needed a bandage and ask further questions (as they did when they saw it).
I don't think so. In the vid they said the police gave them to her and told her to put them on bc she had blood all over her hands and was getting it all over every thing she touched.
Ridiculous how someone can lie, then change their story, then change it again, and still try to act baffled why no one believes them.
She said that HE would get a demonic look on his face and then just stare out into some random direction. That is EXACTLY what the camera caught her doing. She just stared at the door and talked at the air. This is after she's seen follwing him all hunched over like some ghoul. She's projecting her demonic behavior on him. Those clips were very unsettling.
I agree, hearing it scared the shi# outa me.

You nailed it!
After seeing the home security footage and listening to Melissa's Banshee-like shrieks, I realized that she wasn't simply fabricating that Matthew behaved demon possessed at times; she was projecting!
I came here to write exactly what you've written about how creepy she was following him, and he was totally oblivious to the fact that he was about to die.
That voice recording scared me half to death. I watch these shows all the time, ain’t never got chills like that. She sounds like a demon.

I was thinking same...
Zzzzzzzzzzzz...

I hope they make it part of her parole conditions that she can never enter the State of Texas! We won't that mess around here!
Her attitude with the defense attorney was so revealing. She would stop crying just to give her a sarcastic quip. Not a single word of regret or sadness about the death of her fiance, but she was happy to call him an alcoholic. 29:33 sealed it for me with her little "CORRECT!"
the fact that she only got 25 years and very likely wont have to serve the full sentence is appalling. How can they give someone who wont admit their responsible such a light sentence
The direction of her acting in this interview:
1. Wearing light colored cardigan, to show innocence and that she's an ordinary, normal gal
2. Her hair colored and done like an innocent gal who doesn't play character/acting
3. The low voice when speaking to show her sorrow and feminine to manipulate any naive audience to believe she's the victim
4. The crying acts every several seconds (with no tear)
All in all. Nice efforts, but people are not stupid.
I noticed she does get a tear or 2 out occasionally which is better acting than most
The second she opened her mouth, I 100% knew she is guilty of murdering him & then trying to taint him, but, it is all her characteristics that she is putting onto him. She is demonic & evil…

Yes they do!
Yeah her attorney was making me mad lol
When defendant clearly guilty, it's important to have defense attorney at least make a show of vigorous defense and belief that there's reasonable doubt, so after conviction the defendant can't appeal claiming inadequate counsel. However, once the trial's over, the defense attorney can stop pretending they believe their own defense argument, and just be glad murderer is in jail.
And what about prosecutors? You just can’t alienate one group without looking at the other as well.

I just don't understand why people want to move so fast in a relationship, take your time date for a year, find out if the person you are getting to know is crazy. Not crazy. At all. Not even a little bit. She would love that much better than the truth : she knows when and where to turn on and off her manipulative games. Read that last sentence again. She knows. Some one crazy wouldn’t turn it on and off. She is sane. Knows who she is. And what she does.
That palm of hand slice is TEXTBOOK stabbing injury of stabber.
Exactly. She knew what she was doing when she told them she wanted to keep the gloves on. I’m just amazed she thought they would just agree and move on.
It was outrageous that the judge wouldn't allow the jury to hear that she was an actress, but it seems like in the end they saw through her poor acting anyways. ----- she is full of narcissistic tendencies, she spins whatever story she's telling all in her favor.
That sounds like a correct ruling to me. I think the judge knows what is admissable.
Ah yes Florida with the bright colors and great acting. 😅
Say no more.
Matthew bless your soul. 🕊️ I wish we can hear your side.
“It’s not as glamorous as it appears on TV” - Melissa’s own words as she’s in the interview room with detectives directly afterwards.
Absolutely horrible, that poor boy.
I feel like they should get extra charges for falsely accusing victims of abuse.
What a disgusting person. Im not sure why people were paying to look at that.
Same. They always seem to take it easy or ignore the fact that they accuser lied about abuse.
@Nirual Props to Judge for saying: "the jury doesn't believe your claim of self-defense, and neither does this court."
@@zyrosqrd2552Yet she got a slap on her wrist
@Memg007 agree, she shouldve gotten 40 years, if not life.
Not sure who pay as well. Such a waste of money the apps are I'd say. But most people are easily amused.
I like how in the middle of talking about how her husband was murdered she was all smiles when it came time to talk about cosplay.
Lights are on but no ones home in her eyes
Stabbed him “once to get him off me from strangling me”: IN THE BACK?!?!
He’s strangling her, she stabbed him… in the back …in self defense. Okay, sure…🤦🏻♀️
Stabbed him *lightly* in the back she said LMAOOO
Right. I’m surprised that wasn’t discussed more.
I wondered how that was possible and why I did hear much about it
"Stabbed him in the back" from the get-go!!. She took a nice, middle-class kid from a loving family into the Sex Trade??!!.. I thought the testimony of her old friend who stated that she changed & would act very Crazy was on point!!-
Exactly. I was surprised no one mentioned that -- like, how does stabbing someone, allegedly once! in the back... qualify as self-defense 🙄😒
It makes me so angry when people use domestic violence to cover up their evilness!! 😡🤬 She deserves life in prison
👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
That attorney is either a liar or has no idea. She was not crying when she was sentenced
OMG everybody, she is clearly and obviously soooooo sorry ....... she got caught.
Her defense attorney is disgusting with what he proclaimed that this kid deserved to die.
Anyone who studies body language, criminology, or forensic psychology can see right through this woman's bad acting.
He is the same attorney Michael Drejka had.
Take a look at JCS-Criminal Psychology: "The Case of Michael Dreijka"
If your partner is taking you away from your loving family, that partner is no good for anything! I have no doubt that she manipulated him big time!
It takes two to tangle.
Just 20 years of imprisonment? Holy cow!
Her bad teeth are punishment enough…. His screaming is horrible. You can hear he’s begging her to stop
Also, I find it absolutely DISGUSTING how defense lawyers can ruin a victim's reputation without a shred of proof. She is a monster and I'm relieved those cameras caught the piece of sh*t in all her ugly colors.
defense lawyers are reprehensible in cases like this, when the defendant is clearly guilty.
I can't believe it's legal for them to lie like that. Disgusting.
With the ADT videos inside and neighbors video outside she didn’t have a chance to walk away free! She’s Guilty! I feel for his brother especially and the family left behind. He was in too deep.
how disappointing- only 20 years for an innocent life.
2 years with "good behavior"
Not only she is not genuine, she is very dominant. Everything she said is a compilation of all the previous incidences exaggerated, not what happened that night.
Seeing her is just reason not to reward ego with praise and kudos
