Such an odd mixing technique. He cues the tracks manually, I mean that is rare nowadays especially if you use CDJ2000s, but there's no overlap. Just slam in a new track, that's barely mixing. If you just slam in a new track you might as well autocue. Also the channels are swapped, left CDJ is channel 3, right CDJ is channel 2. Is that like a Japanese thing maybe?
This is the way how Eurobeat DJs play the songs in ParaPara events. Due to the nature of ParaPara dance, only the first part of the song is played, hence overlapping or fade in/out would make the mixing even more unnatural
I’m afraid that there’s one Japanese version of this Eurobeat song. The Initial D mix should be in 100% English-language, so Jee Bee’s version could be playing on this mix.

The SEB non-stop CDs would have better cueing and transition between songs, but these are mastered in the studio and not live mixing
