They say that if you die, you die twice. First time is the moment you die physically, last time is the moment the last person thinks about you for the last time.
His music inspires and helps so many people. We still listen, we wont forget. As long as we dont forget, he is still there. Maybe not physically, but he lives on in our hearts. True genius this guy.

It is said in hindu books too, i remember that there is a dramatised conversation about it. The man is revealed that one dies and reaches in hell or heaven, but he can escape hell only when people forget his atrocities and he has to leave heaven when the last person/ life form forgets about his Good deeds.
So the person who found that out went on to pet a tortoise😂. It's not actually a funny story, but I only remember this part of it.
      It's quite detailed.

my first contact with Avicii was back in 2007.
There was this online forum soundarea or so,where artists shared musics, mosty bootlegs.
Avicii had a web page,it was a simple black ground with neon letter, scroll up down page.
I remember downloading the songs to my creative zen mp3 player and sharing with my highschool friends, telling them how skilled Avicii was.
Those were good days to remember.

At the time, I had no idea, but when his music was at its mainstream peak, I was living through the most challenging times of my life. A single mother to a very young son and on my own, full-time work/full-time college, a heart-breaking romantic relationship, and then fighting for my life with a rare/critical form of bone marrow failure - pushing my way through and living to see the other side. Hearing his music now, without thought - tears will form and begin to stream down my face. It instantly sweeps me away, back to the hardships I faced and the emotions I lived with then. So bittersweet. Top that with his life, his hard work, the success he found - the pain and the challenges he endured. His story is so very complex, inspiring and tragic.

I've watched a documentary back in the day called Avicii true stories, and you could tell he was really struggling with his health and anxiety, he kept saying he couldn't keep up, the doctors told him he had to rest, but his team kept pushing him saying he had shows scheduled, he was literaly in the hospital room with a doctor telling him he had to stop touring but his team was telling him to hang in there ...that he had contracts, it was hearbreaking to watch, they gave him pain meds and got him back on tour. I'm not really into DJ's but Aviici's music was just real special, I can't really pintpoint what it was but he was a real artist with such a unique touch, his music just made me feel opefull for some reason.

I saw Avicii perform in his prime in 2012 and it’s a core moment I cherish. I got to see him perform live and years later when he passed away, I was shook and it hit me hard. His music lives on, Avicii forever ❤️

People who are not a big fan of Avicii only knows his mainstream songs like Levels, Wake me up, The Nights, Hey Brother and few more which got the limelight. Over the past few years I found so many hidden gems of Avicii remixes like Robyn - Hang with me (Avicii remix), unreleased songs (Faster than light, Our love, Lord and many such ear candies) and few of his old songs. Not to forget his Avicii by Avicii remix album of his own songs - a true masterpiece (Addicted to you - avicii by avicii remix is my favourite)
There is not a single week, I don't think about TIM and I'm pretty sure he had this impact with his music on many such EDM lovers. Really glad to have been born in the same era as Avicii. Hope you're happy wherever you are, TIM. Much love. :D

He had so unique rhythm... Whenever you heard his song in a radio, you could tell it's him. It was something that hardly any musician has today. Most people just cover things or use like default samples. Avicii was different, he used some kind of a single rhythm, single click, single "something" that belongs only to him.
