    ❤❤❤Love how you build it. I added a tv to our gazebo this spring. Strapped our old tv using ZeboZAP without drilling into the gazebo post. So happy with the outcome I had to post it. ❤❤❤🎉🎉🎉

    Well, adding that camo jig(Pro X1) to my tool bag, got a 12x20 deck build for this summer. I like the hidden screw idea!

      Hi, We get a lot of high winds where we live and my deck is literally sitting on top of deck blocks. So, to ensure it doesn't fly away during a windstorm, I installed shed anchors. Thanks for watching !!

    Did you bolt the gazebo right to the deck, or put anything special underneath to better secure the 4 corners of the gazebo?

    • @fixitmonkey8947
      @fixitmonkey8947  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi John, sorry for the late reply. Mrs Monkey already selected Gazebo, so i had the measurements for the posts handy. Knowing where the posts would be, i added horizontal beams so that he posts would have something hefty to bolt on to. Thanks for Watching!

    It looks like the deck surface is at an elevation that is even (or even higher?) with the sliding glass door? was this a concern for you?

    • @fixitmonkey8947
      @fixitmonkey8947  8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      hi Brian. Thanks for the note, yes the deck is higher than the sliding door, bit it is also built about 3 feet away. I am going to build an extra step there in the future. Thanks for watching !!

    how do you anchor the gazebo on the wood deck?

    • @fixitmonkey8947
      @fixitmonkey8947  ปีที่แล้ว

      I reinforced the base with multiple horizontal beams so that when the posts are bolted down, it has some heft to it rather than just the planks

      Hi, they are called joist tape. Since the joist plank is on it's side, when water drips into it from the deck boards, it will cause the joist to rot quicker. applying the tape would prevent that. Thanks for watching!

    • @fixitmonkey8947
      @fixitmonkey8947  5 วันที่ผ่านมา

      @kent5423 Those are shed anchors to prevent the deck from flying off. You can get them at home depot. Thanks for watching.

    • @fixitmonkey8947
      @fixitmonkey8947  5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @mattpierce7688 It's called a Joist tape. It helps prevent the Joists from rotting when rain trickles down the gaps and to the joist. Thanks for watching !
