I'm a new Muslim I've only been Muslim for a little over a year and I'm still trying to relearn how to live my life. And I get so upset with myself when I mess up. And I have to constantly look back and remind myself I've come a long way and as long as I keep the effort going I will see the change. All I want is the opportunity to die as a good Muslim
Salam. Allah, your Creator and Lord knows our weakness. He made 5 time praying compulsory after 9 years. Fasting after 14 years. Giving up alcohol after 14 years. And this for the greatest generation of the Muslims who were living with Allah s messenger. So take it easy but stay firm on the path to paradise. InshaAllah.

Only the waliyullah knew waliyullah. The people that achieve the nafs al-mutmainnah is the small waliy, the waliy asghar. The Shaikhs in my country said like that, from the writings of Shaikh Abdul Somad al-Falimbani, the Palembang or Sumatran ulema who study and teach in Makkah in the 17th century. He is the disciple of Shaikh Muhammad bin ‘Abd al-Karim al-Madani as-Shafi’i as-Samman, the murshid of Sammaniyah order, one of the offshoot of Khalwatiya Order.
Shiekh is just stating a very simple concept that should not by any means be misunderstood. Again, shiekh is differentiating between matters of the heart and the actions of someone, he is simply stating signs of a wali, of course jn end the condition of the heart only Allah knows, a simple day to day muslim could be a wali and you would never truly know, that condition is between them and Allah, shiekh is simply stating signs that you may see. kiraamaat of Awliyah will only happen by Allahs permission, but does not need to happen in order for a Muslim to reach the state of awliyah. Again, shiekh is mentioning by what is apparent khalas, i.e signs. MashAllah, shiekh May Allah preserve him.
To be a mumin you must be doing the farz at least. Let alone being an wali. All defines momin as: "The ˹true˺ believers are only those who believe in Allah and His Messenger-never doubting-and strive with their wealth and their lives in the cause of Allah. They are the ones true in faith." surah hujarat 15. Gaza burns, Afghanistan burnt, Iraq burnt, Kashmir, Rohingas, Ughirs, If I am sitting while it all happened, I have zero doubt about me not being a momin, let alone a wali. Who can own up to that? Abandoning a farz and being called a wali does not compute. Its time for humility and humbleness. Allah and history will not judge us well. A billion of us and kids being massacred? Shame on me. Shame of me. Shame on me. Shame on all of us. Dont tell me someone is a wali if he is a sheikh sitting comfortably. We are people of wahn and sheikhs of wahn. Shame on me, shame on me, shame on me. Shame on us all. Especially our sheikhs and leaders.
Thank you. Young man you are only talking about the externals ..... the sainthood of the Wali Allah is deeply hidden. Only a Wali or real servant of Allah will recognise a Wali. If a servants heart is "opened" he may smell the scent of sainthood near a WaliAllah!
Then we can say who is hypocrite... And then give an excuse saying it is "ala zannina" according to our assessment... Allah and his Messenger gave us signs of munafiks too... I wouldn't go this route brothers...let not claim ghaib when Allah knows who is pretending, sinning at secret and who is not... Leave it for Judgment day...Salam
Good assumptions are encouraged and promoted while bad assumptions are warned against. Saying a person is a wali is husnu-dhan, while saying someone is a hypocrite is su-udh-dhan which is the sunnah of shaitan and discouraged

Here's the question to ask: Are Mansur Al-Hallaj and Bayazid Bustami awliyah?
Yes.
He dont know the answer but he try to explain 💁
He said yes.
Then we can say who is hypocrite... And then give an excuse saying it is "ala zannina" according to our assessment... Allah and his Messenger gave us signs of munafiks too... Yes by this example I can assess some "ulema/alim" having 2 face or hypocrisy...but I do not go that route
Yes if it means hypocrite in actions. As for hypocrite of imam we cannot.

I don't think you understand the concept of wilaya. How did you conclude "yes" ?
