By reading the parts that were meant to be improvised and seem natural, you get a window of just how contrived and disingenuous the copy is, giving all these bullshit prefaces for having the host promote the product. I can't tell you how much more aware and mentally conscious coming across ads in other podcasts/channels becomes and how hilarious it is to see these people just take on these false premises as if they're really telling a true story of how they came to be so supportive of whatever is in the ad.
It also means that when he does give praise to a product it’s genuine. I can’t remember specifics, but he’s said good things about that underwear company and the one that sells meat. Both names escape me at the moment lol

Possibly 2min but even that is very rare. Bill knows how to sell. These are real customers” the fact that they feel the need to say that kills the credibility hahaha
