because nobody would buy a thing like that for that amount of money. Drugstore palettes look better and perform better almost all of the time so *why would anybody ever buy it*
I am screaming, I remember when it was about to drop, and me and a bunch of other MUA’s were absolutely losing it in the comments (as in, none of us could believe this mess was real), and I absolutely saw the palette 50% off on the actual Tarte website like 1 week after it came out.

As someone with a non-white/non-American by birth grandparent, she seems very Americanized for someone who was born in another country. Granted, she moved when she was very young and kids tend to assimilate to new people/places well. I am pretty much white/American, so no judgement there. However, it does seem manipulative of her to start throwing around her heritage when she didn't emphasis it much in the past. To me, it doesn't seem to be her embracing it. It seems like a calculated move so she can take advantage of her hertiage to further her career. It just doesn't sit right with me, but that's only an opinion and I don't know her.

The “shiny spray” actually is a thing that happens in makeup products (usually the “cheaper”/lower quality ones). To the best of my knowledge, it’s to cut production costs for whoever is producing the makeup which results in a much less effective product that looks the part enough to dupe the consumer into a purchase...
