The drone and trials mix is intriguing, something I expected to become practical one day. Our bush (woods) are for the most part, even thicker than in your spot, but I imagine you must be able to set the distance or elevation above the subject, where the drone flies. We do get to open spots and rock bluffs that would be great for these type of shots. I will google the drone you have, and see what it's about. Cheers.
Hi Thank you for the comment, its a Mavic Air 2 that I use. They made a firmware update recently which makes the active track work much better. In areas with a lot of trees its a risk taking it out but it seems to be ok so far. Best of luck with it. Trevor
I watch a channel called Trek Ethos, who uses a skydio 2 drone and he mentioned in the comments on one of his videos just how much better the skydio 2 is at tracking objects and maneuvering around obstacles than anything dji has. Its certainly more expensive than the air but it did track him quite impressively in his vids, and on their site is video where they demonstrate the ability to maneuver in a forest.

Thanks for the info, unfortunetly the Skydio is not avaible in Europe at the moment. Hopefully it will be at some point.
