Hi Peter. I’ve got Friday morning coffee #1 in hand, and yours is the first video I’ve seen to kick off the all-Porsche weekend. I would have been pleased had you chosen any of the eight you pulled out of the box. Sorry for the trouble with your first attempt. You’ll have to come back to that one in the future. The 356 now looks tremendous with all the careful details you added to it. 😎 It’s the favourite for so many of us. Thanks so much for taking part in my anniversary build again this year. It wouldn’t be the same without some PB magic in the mix, beardless or not. You’re a bud! I hope you’ll be able to catch many of the other videos that will be coming out this weekend, and the recap to follow too. All the best to you and your viewers! Greetings from Switzerland. Andrew 🍁☕👍
Thank you Andrew. My apologies for posting a bit early. You don't need to be sorry, I need to stop picking projects beyond my capabilities. At the rate I move the 906 may just make it for MLC Porsche 5. Maybe.
First, love the Andrew impression. Spot on. Second, great job making do when plans change. Turned out fantastic!
Thank you, it's one of my few talents, I like to think I sound more like Andrew than Andrew does lol. And thank you very much regarding the build.
That red really pops on that casting!! Great job!! 🔥 ❤
It really does, it helped that the diecast was fairly new and polished up so nice. Thank You David!
One of my favorite Porsche body styles, well done PB!
Mine too Ron! I reckon we nearly got the same colour going on our builds, yours looks great too.
Give yourself a pat on the back for that one, PB. It looks amazing!
It's hard to be humble Gerry, but yes even my brain is letting me slap myself on the back with this one.
She’s a beauty PB! Love the colour.
Thank you Scott, it was nice working with fresher metal which helped.
lookign good, the brushed surface underneath the red surely shimmers like a gem. :)
that was a lovely gift for that young guy, he had to show it around to it's big brothers right away. :)
Thank You, I think it's living on top of a tool chest now, which is a pretty cool place for it to be.
I love this model, I have a couple in my collection. Nicely done!
Thank you Yannick.
that look gorgeous amazing job
Thank You Neil, I was quite please with how it came out, was a bit sorry to see it go.
Nice build, details and paint job 👌 👍
Thank you Joe!
Fantastic job Peter. You have so many tricks for me to learn from. Cheers, Timo.
Thank you Timo! I learned a lot from watching other builders too, if we all share the knowledge we can all get better.
Wow Peter that's awesome restoration well done 👍.
Thank You Adrian!
That's a stunner, PB......just the right colour 👍🏻👌🏻👏🏻 I've done a 356 for Andrews 4th birthday as well; don't tell anyone 🤫 but I'm not a big Porsche fan; except for the 356.
If you're having bovver with the black wash, have you considered making your own from oil paint and white spirit? Make it up as you need it and as thin as you like......any other colour too; the wash world is your mollusc!
Thank you. The black wash just doesn't work for me sometimes, it's probably not the right thing for small models, I don't know. And I don't eat seafood apart from potato scallops.
Top job pbs, love the stock rims, I'm late, unfortunately I've been painting and fitting real cars together for a shop😢 that's life, unfortunately I couldn't enter this year time issues, have a great weekend Cheers 🍻 🇦🇺 🤝 😊 👌
Thank you KC, you gotta pay the bills first dude.
@@PBsRetroRestorations Cheers 🍻 👍
Sweet! I like these more traditional "original" porsche than the new ones. And the movie you just mentioned is my favorite one😅. Take care and have a nice weekend family PB😎👍🏻
Thank you Asko, me too. And don't write of the Goose until you see the box going into the hole.
Amazing build PB she is a beautiful Porsche for sure. Good old #5
Thank you, I'll have to make another one if I can find another 356, I was sorry to see it go.
Wonderful work! Looking forward to the first car completion 💪
Thank you, I hope to finish the other one at some stage Adam.
@@PBsRetroRestorations P.S. You doing Andrew's voice is my new favourite content on YT 😂
Great work as always. I love the 356 as a car and this casting looks great.
I’ve got a Majorette 924 and at least one Matchbox 928 in my to do pile 🤪🤣
Thank you Andrew. I'm a fan of the MB 928, I'm going to try and clean the blue one, it's not in too bad shape really.
@@PBsRetroRestorations I’ve got a gold one and a black one. The black one is in good shape, the gold one average.
Super nice! 👊❤
Thank you, was a bit sad to let it go this time.
Awesome custom build
Thank You!
Superb...
Thank you Lee.
Great job Peter 👍🏻
Well it got there in the end. Kind of. 🤣
Another top quality job pb 🙂👍
Thank You Barry, very kind.
👍 Thx 🇧🇪.
You're welcome, thank you for watching!
🔥🔥😎👍
Thank you very much!
Very nice PB!
Thank you Mark!
Nice job PB. Shame about the first one, but some of those cheap casting are crap. Thx for shout out, lol. I still don't have any shares in Temu. Cheers Graham.
Thank You Graham. Yeah, it's just a bit too nasty to get right. I could spend forever on it and it still wouldn't look right. We'll see.
@@PBsRetroRestorations mayb U should get Ur mate, Captain Australia onto it. Lol.
Looks a lot better in the red , shame about the other one 😢
Thank you Martin. The other one >might< come back, lord knows I did all the other parts for it.
Love that porsche you have done a fantastic job on this one P.B hats off to you. How has the beard coming on? Have you kept shaving or growing back we all need an up date 😂
Thank you Ben! As for the beard, it's getting there and shaving was never an option. I'm growing it as fast as I can, I think sniffing paint fumes all these years has stunted it's growth.
lovey job PB shame the original choice gave you such a hard time I've had one or two builds that have ended up in orbit with Elon's Tesla so I know the feeling the little red rooster came out great mate well done 👍👍👍
Ah, I should've expected it with a cheap casting. It's the old "I wanted to see the good in it and tried to help it, but it didn't want to help itself" story lol. Thank You.
Actually, I thought in Stuttgart they would say "Du bis Krunkerdunker" Ja? Nein? ...EH? Porsche 356, that is the one to have.
I suspect you're right David. Sadly my German is limited lol. But I am definitely learning Krunkerdunker for my next German car video. Thank You!
@@PBsRetroRestorationsI only speak Pseudo German, but it sounds good.

Hi Peter, would you be interested in restoring a Corgi Mercedes Pullman 600 for me? I acquired it recently and it came with some broken missing parts. Please let me know.
Hi! If you'd like to send me some pics of it to pbsretrorestorations@gmail.com I'd love to have a look at it for you. I see your logo says you're in Stockholm, I am based in Australia and if the postage to and from doesn't put you off, please get in touch.
