Nice build, details and paint job 👌 👍
Nice touch with Candaloni's hand!!
Gotta have the hand, thank you Joe.
Great paint , great finish .
SOOO KOOOLLLLLLL .
Mike
Thank you!
Sweet watching now 👀🇦🇺🤝🇦🇺🍻
Thank you KC!
Well that wasn’t built by someone who’s incompetent! Looks absolutely great PB.
Thank you for saying so Scott.
That's an excellent build. I like the severed hand hanging off.
Thank You, I've got a lot to learn still with modelling in general but figure painting (even if it's just a hand 😂) is something I've not had much experience with, so thank you!
That's a really neat build, Peter. I am going to have to rewatch Mad Max. I have to admit. At one point, I thought you were going to super-glue a rag to your face and hand to the car but you came out unscathed. The car came out fantastic in the end.
Thanks Gerry, I have a habit of using too much super glue. It's all hidden inside thank goodness.
@@PBsRetroRestorations as long as the glue is "Holden", no problem.
@@jesterger boom tish 🤣
Fantastic build Peter it definitely looks like the car from the movie. Nice work my friend.
Thank you! Hopefully Aoshima will re-issue their Hardtop and DDA will give us the Monaro and XB's.
Fantastic build Pete looks amazing well done 👍
Thank You Adrian!
Turned out Brilliant, I've got this kit, got it a while back, should be happy with that, have a great Easter👊 Cheers🍻🍻🍻 KC & CC 🇦🇺🇳🇿🤝🇦🇺🇦🇺😊☺️👍
Yep super stoked with it KC, Hope you and CC had a good Easter too.
@@PBsRetroRestorations cool yeah relaxed at home working 🤫🤣 🍻🍻🇦🇺😊👍
PB, WOW! This one came out a treat. I even relented and got the kit too. Quite a DDA stash building up. Well done on this build. Cheer's and Happy Easter to you and the family. JV
Thank You JV! In the end I held off the temptation to get the XW / XY, I've pre-ordered the Brock LJ and if they do bring out the Chargers I want to have some money left for them 🤣
thank's for a really entertaining video PB best 50 minutes I've spent on the internet this week great model mate and a big hand for Mr Cundalini 🖐🖐🖐🖐
He could do with a hand, be easier to clean the plugs on his Kwaka. Thank you Neil I'm glad you enjoyed it.
Superb build mate 🦘🦘🦘
Thank you very much, thank you for watching.
Looks awesome mate
Happy Bunny Time
Thank You BK! Hope you had a good bunny weekend too lol.
Bloody great work mate love the details you have put into it 👍
Thank you very much Craig!
Love that intro as well, nicely done 😊
Thank you, I did have the original music on it, but of course TH-cam pinged me for it so I had to change it, but I'm glad you liked it, it took me a while.
aw, so many details! last time I had inner roof liners it was on these overly detailed Franklin Mint models (though in 1/43 scale), and separate door handles is more a thing I have on Union Models from Japan, or Heller kits from france...
great result! I have to re-watch the movies, too, it seems. can't remember the details anymore. ^^
Thank you Lothar! I'm glad the super glue hadn't set too hard so I could sort it out. I've only built one Heller kit before (Blower Bentley) and am working on my second at the moment (1928 Citreon). The first two films are terrific.
AWESOME! Very cool build😎👍🏻
Thanks Asko, we just need that Monaro now. And the XB. And a reissue of the Hardtop wouldn't hurt either 😊
Greetings from south east Manitoba. Just found you on YT. Really enjoyed your vid. I used to build plastic kits but my hands aren’t steady enough any more and my eyes aren’t what they used to be. But you’ve helped fill a part of my life that I’ve have missed doing myself. Thank you so much! Now I’m hooked. You’ve got my sub and a👍.
Hi Keith! Thank you for the kind words and the sub, much appreciated. I'm trying to do more model kit builds on my channel, the diecast stuff kind of took over. I often wonder what folk get out of watching my videos and feedback like yours gives me the energy to keep sharing what I do, thank you. When a new viewer from Canada reaches out, I usually make a reference to the TV show Degrassi Junior High, because everything I know about Canada comes from watching it back in the 90's. But I won't this time 😉
Hey, I love the die cast too. I collect old Corgi military like from the 70’s -80’s when I was a kid so keep going with the die cast it’s cool. Di Grassi, lol. You’ll have to tell me about it, I honestly never saw it. But I won’t hold that against you. You sound like either an Aussie, or a Kiwi. Either is good with me. Served with some of those lads back in the day. Good people every last one. And everything I pretty much know about your part of the world I learned from Crocodile Dundee, and of course listening to Midnight Oil. I’ll raise a tinnnie to ya, and wish you g’day!
@@tprski good on ya, and 110% Aussie my man. Yes, we’re all like Mick Dundee lol.
🤣 yep definitely Aussie. Cheers!
Excellent build PB!
Thank you Ron.
Happy Easter PB..... I hope the Easter kangaroo (or whatever you have down there) brings you loads of chocolate for a job well done!
Lovely result after plenty of trials and tribulations, all sorted in your very own inimitable style....... a great watch! 👍🏻👏🏻👌🏻
Thank you and the same to you and Mrs. Septic. No Easter Kangaroo, but the shops tried shoving the Easter Bilby down our throats a few years back.
@@PBsRetroRestorations 🤦🏼♂️
Very cool build
Thank you very much!
Nice project!
Thank you Lee!
Great work on the van I have brought this model and i was thinking the same thing to do it out of the mad max you bet me to it but you did a great job
Thank you, I really hope they do some other cars from the film too.
@PBsRetroRestorations yes I agree to it would be great if Thay do all the cars from mad Max
Just wondering if you do any 3d printing for orders, as I am looking to get my hands on some Venetian blinds?
Cheers.
@@gbmodels7790 I make a Venetian for the HQ sedan, if you can print them yourself I can send you the file, or I can do one for you, send me an email at pbsretrorestorations@gmail.com
excellent! I just picked up the Ford XY GT.. I had 6 or 7 XW, XY's in my younger years.. I assume you're a Holden man, but I'm looking forward to your build anyway.. soon, I hope! cheers
Thank You! I'm actually a Valiant guy, and apparently DDA are going to do one, but I'm happy to build some Holdens and Fords until that glorious day. It might be a while before I get to the Falcon, but I've got a video of the HQ Kingy on here and a 3D printed Torana if you check my other videos.
@@PBsRetroRestorations cool, I've watched those already! watched the XY unboxing vid 4 times before I bought it! I really wanted the LJ Torana coz I owned several of those too but seems they've sold out already... I love your custom style, same as mine.. especially the '73 P plater Skyline.. awesome!
sorry, I meant Johnny V's unboxing...🙄
@@odelayrowemonkey2145 no dramas, the Toranas aren’t out yet, Anthony’s Diecast still has them for pre-order, I think 🤔
