I recall an article in Dr Dobbs magazine ages ago in which someone asked Mr Punch (I think) for advice on writing a Compiler and the reply was "Don't".
Great consistent design and forth-like concepts. Maybe more 2 cents. Two functions on jump table, for 'transform' passed parameters, as 'init' and 'return', then could adapt many existant libraries without need of rewrite.
