- On June 20 2010 We depart from Colyton and set out on the journey to Seaton riding on the top of an open double decker tram..For those who don't remember what used to happen, in the first part of the video the driver is seen upstairs making noises as he walks around. What he is doing is swinging the seat backrests from one edge of the seat to the other so that passengers are then going to face the new direction of travel.

Beautiful movie, Mike. These trams are superbly preserved and gorgeous, you'd think they are new. Thanks.
Philippe
Congratulations Mike, on another superb video. Perfect conditions for filming and your expertise behind the lens, makes for extremely enjoyable viewing...Thanks again ....Bob
Thanks you, Videos very nice,
@howarth004 I would think Blackpoo is the only city in the UK to keep their trams since they were first introduced before our time. They had the good scence to locate them parallel to roads rather than in them! And they still remain a popular attraction and means of transport.
@togreektown I enjoyed my visit there! Trams are a rarity in our part of the UK but some cities have re introduced modern systems. We have a great tramway Museum at Crich in Derbyshire where they have rescued and restored a great range of trams not only from the UK but from other countries too. You can ride on them there too. The controller is basic but easy to understand and very user friendly.
@PhilbruProduction Thank you Philippe. Its good to know they are well cared for!
@Firrboxfryup Thanks! I havn't been there for some years, it was great to see it all again, with nice friendly people and rides free with a heritage pass!
Who built these trams
