FRANK AND THE EL CAMINO STEERING GEAR BOX UPGRADE 11 30 21

TODAY'S VIDEO IS ABOUT UPGRADING THE 4 1/2 TURN STEERING GEAR BOX TO A 3 TURN GEAR BOX. THIS STEERING GEAR BOX IS A BRAND NEW GEAR BOX SINCE THE ONE IT'S REPLACING WAS 'REBUILT' AND WAS SO LOOSE I COULDN'T DRIVE IT SAFELY. I'M VERY HAPPY WITH THE RESPONSIVENESS AND TIGHTNESS OF THIS 3 TURN GEAR BOX , WORKS EXCEPTIONALLY WELL ON THESE MOUTAIN ROADS.... THE 'TURN' REFERENCE HAS TO DO WITH THE NUMBER OF TURNS THE STEERING WHEEL HAS TO MAKE TO MOVE FROM LOCK TO LOCK (FROM ALL THE WAY LEFT TO ALL THE WAY RIGHT)..

Yeah all that organized stuff doesn’t work for me either.. the ammo boxes are waterproof.. also I end up going through the metric and standard wrenches anyway so I just mix em’ all together..

What steering box is this? I’m currently building my ‘69 and I’m looking to change it to power steering

It's a 3 turn stop to stop... supposedly came in Z28..but I ordered as a 3 turn...
